"sol? you ready?" malachi asks from our room.
"are they already outside?" i ask, gathering my bags.
the girls and noah were gonna pick malachi and i up in their moms suv so that we could all fit to go to their house.
i heard my phone going off as i went in the bathroom to gather my skincare products.
"hello?" i say answering and putting it on speaker.
"hi! we're outside and hungry so hurry!" demitra says from the other side of the phone.
i laugh as i zip up my travel bag, "we'll be down in less than five minutes."
"okay, see you then." she replies, hanging up.
i walk out of the bathroom, turning off the light, and see malachi sitting on his bed waiting for me.
"okay, lets go." i say grabbing my suitcase and grabbing the key card to return to the front desk.
once we make it out of the room and onto the elevator, it stops for some other people. an old retired couple, probably in their early 60's.
once the elevator doors close that's when the older women speaks, "oh well aren't you a gorgeous young lady! what's your name dear?"
her cheerful tone matching the smile on her face while she looks at me. i grin at her, "thank you! i'm solana."
"oh, what a lovely name. you remind me of my granddaughter." she replies.
