we were currently at a fancy restaurant called the lotus. it was me, joshua, our friend matt, olivia and her friends conan, iris, and madison.
the seating went like this, matt and josh across from me, olivia on my right and me on the end of the booth. next to liv is iris, then conan, then finally madison.
as we were engaging in a very intense conversation about something completely random, the waitress came up to us with her notepad and pen.
"welcome to the lotus! my name is alissa and i'll be your waitress for the night. what can i get started for you guys?" the waitress named alissa asked as she looked around the table.
"i'll have a water." i said starting off.
"water for me too." liv ordered. the rest of the group ordered their respective drinks.
"all right i'll have those ready for you guys in just a few minutes." alissa said and winked at me.
"she totally wants you bro." josh teased.
"yea did you see her checking you out?" matt laughed.
"she was nottttt." i blushed slightly, "she was just being nice." i said.
"yea right. that wink meant something else." josh and matt laughed. i just blushed and looked down.
as i looked down i seen a hand on my upper thigh. i looked over slightly and seen that olivia was immersed in a conversation with iris. i quirked a brow but decided to let it go.
