another normal day

Yup the next part, I was kind of holding it off as I didn't want to do it as well I had to redownload the game so sorry for the late timing :P. (nvm I'm not going by moons anymore unless for age reasons)

As the sun rose higher in the sky, every cat gathered around the hotdog stand. Dreamstar sat down and looked around at everyone. "I'll make this quick as I have a friend to care for!... And our kit too," he said as Duckpaw walked up near him. While every cat was chatting about the soon-to-be warrior, Basskit slowly got out of her bed and wandered off to where Kinkwing lay. Basskit rested her head on Kinkwing's side. Kinkwing sighed, her face filled with sadness as she looked over at Basskit and tried to put on a smile, but it didn't look convincing.

In a low and stuttering voice, she spoke, "Hello, Basskit. Duckpaw is going to be a warrior. Do you want to be here when it happens?" Basskit nodded, not wanting to be rude to Duckpaw. Kinkwing nodded as she seemed a little bit happier. Both Kinkwing and Basskit looked back up to Dreamstar as he put his tail on Duckpaw's shoulder. Duckpaw sat unbothered as Dreamstar continued with the long, formal words of the warrior ceremony.

"cats of the poolcat, I mean poolclan, today we here for duck paw as his new warrior name will be a duck... hmmm oh wait duckfade, as I honored his understanding. Duckfade has no complaints about the long vigil and they must sit that night, wait no I mean don't mind the last part," Dreamstar looks dumbfounded as most of the cats below the hotdog stand. As they confused look at one another before back at Dreamstar. Muddapple got up and she put her paw on Dreamstar's side, she knew it was just that Dreamstar was tired from last night as well what happens so she moved her head and started pushing Dreamstar to get off the hotdog stand.

"Come on, DreamReed, it's time for you to sleep. I can handle this for you, so just rest, okay?" Dreamstar sighed as he turned and walked to the ground. Basskit shuffled, not understanding why so many cats seemed upset. She knew Dreamstar had to deal with kits, but Kinkwing and Mom seemed sad. Basskit looked over at Kinkwing and asked, "Hey Kinkwing, want to go out for a walk or maybe we can talk? I want to help you feel better." Kinkwing slowly nodded her head in agreement.

"sounds fine with me as well this meeting is getting a bit odd as well having someone to talk to would sound lovely right now," She got up as Basskit followed close behind her, both of them kept close by as they went to the pool place as the place felt warm as well the air was not that windy as before. Basskit tilts her head up a little bit as she thinks for a while mostly about what has been going on, there has been a lot of odd stuff that has been adding up to something as she looks at Kinkwing. "Hey Kinkwing, is there anything bugging you that you like to talk about?"

Kinkwing looks away as they get to the car parking nest she sits down on the black Rocky ground and she taps the spot side of her, With her tail Basskit walks over and sits down as she looks away Kinkwing says. "are you sure you want to know," Basskit nods her head yes even if it bad, she could handle it or what she thinks she can as she says back. "yeah I can handle it, I'll be there if you need me," she put her tail on Kinkwing's back so Kinkwing nods her head then goes on to tell what was wrong.

"you know the kits... oh wait I should say the names, I mean Finkit and Tidekit, Chervilkit are not some lost kits but there is also my family...," Basskit looked shocked as she could tell that they had some matching details but never wanted to overstep on things as she nods and let Kinkwing goes on. "I knew it was them as I saw our mother dropping them off here before leaving, I don't know how to tell them as well their apprentice thing is happening soon so...," she looks over at Basskit with a worried look as if she was asking for help so Basskit looks away and thinks.

"Maybe you should tell them before they get their apprentice's names? Or I could tell them if you want to," She offers but Kinkwing shakes her head no as she likes the first idea so she gets up and says to Basskit, "I think I'll tell them as it's more reasonable for me to tell them then you but for now we can go back inside," she flicks her tail as she stops as Basskit get up and slowly follows next to Kinkwing as she wonders why had to go back inside of camp this soon.

"Can we see Duckpaw, I mean Duckfade as I want to see what he is up to and maybe ask him something if that is okay?" Kinkwing looks suspicious but is not in the mood to ask a kit about why or who they want to talk to so she nods and flicks her tail to where she has seen him last.

"Well, he was over there while he was walking out of the camp so he should be there if not then just ask yellow spots," Basskit nods as she goes over to the food hall The spot that Kinkwing was pointing at was that. She looked around and under the tables even though the tables were cat-sized, it still didn't rule out that Duckfade was under one. But at every table and spot that she checked, there was no Duckfade OR even a duck!

"oh come on DUCKFADE! Where are you?," she yells out without meaning too as while looking around the dining room spot, meanwhile Duckfade sighs as he can be heard from the kitchen getting off the table of the kitchen room, the room was super big to do fact it was used to cook for a lot humans before they left the place. "Dolphinkit, can you tell your sister to chill it and use her inside voice? I don't need to get in trouble for letting Kits yell all around the town,"

Dolphinkit nods as she goes out into the dining room she finds Basskit sitting at the corner of the room she was somewhat calmy playing with a moss ball she tilts her head up when she hears Dolphinkit going over. "oh hey Dolphin! What are you up to?," she asked as Dolphinkit went and sat down next to her.

"Duckfade told me to tell you not to yell in the dining room or you would yell the around town down,", Basskit softly hits the moss ball to Dolphinkit as she is confused and says back, "he said that? And where is he by the way," Dolphinkit moves and hits the moss ball back as she says back?

"yup!! And oh he is in the kitchen as he heard that humans cook their food to make it last longer so maybe we should try it as well," Basskit was somewhat shocked at what she heard but then again if they could then what else could they do? she gets up as he nods her head to the kitchen and says. "already then, I need to ask him something anyways so do you need anything where I go back?," she looks back at Dolphinkit as she moves her head no but get up anyways as she slowly follows Basskit while talking to Basskit.

"no I don't but I still want to help Duckfade as I don't think he got the cooking part right yet and I don't want him to burn down the kitchen, this place is already small like a smoke trashcan, we don't need another one," Basskit laughs as she nods her head agreeing as they walk into the kitchen, they could smell a bad scent of burn fish as well of? They were not sure if it was mixed of chicken but also rotten honey. "I think you are right Dolphinkit, maybe we should ask for leftovers from Bubblingclan, as I heard that they live in a big place where all the fishes live!"

Basskit was intrigued by the sight before her. Her ears perked up in surprise as she had never known that Bubblingclan had such a unique type of camp. She couldn't help but daydream about the possibility of visiting the other camps once she became a warrior. As she gazed around, she spotted Duckfade holding a pan in his mouth, grumbling under his breath with a grumpy expression on his face. "hey duckfade? do you need help?" Basskit shakes his head no as he doesn't want Kits to be near the fire he looks back at Basskit and Dolphinkit as he flicks his tail to the door again,

"BUT you can go bug Dreamstar for me? It's an easy task then uhhh what I'm trying to cook as well someone has to get under Dreamstar's fur once in a while," Dolpinkit and Basskit exchanged glances before turning their attention back to Duckfade. They quickly nodded in agreement, finding the task of pestering Dreamstar to be an exciting idea. With enthusiasm, they dashed off to the dining room. By this time, several cats had already gathered in the dining room and taken their seats.

most everyone was talking about Finkit and Tidekit, Chervilkit going to be apprentices as well about Duckfade but lot few was also talking about what been going on, Iristumble shuffles herself as she sat down next to Muddapple as she whispers into Muddapple's ear. "I seen star cats again! this time they told me about the waters and something about bass yet again, i swear I wish starclan can stop trying to tell tiny stories then just tell me already," She huffs, Muddapple nods.

she may not understand how it is from Iristumble but she can understand how starclan can be sometimes so she moves her tail on Iristumble's shoulder as she give Iristumble a comforting smile.
