*POV PERSEPHONE*

*MOUNT OLYMPUS*

NICO: Why are we here Clotho? Can we not have even the slightest of reprieve? Gaia is gone. Can you not let us have even a morsel of time to mourn? grieve? And watching us without our consent? bringing us here? What happened now?

I would recognize that face anywhere—I'd just left him and his sister at the Lotus Casino. Zeus, the hypocrite, summoned Hades and me before we could even finish our perideipnon, before we could shed the black clothes still heavy with the weight of Maria's loss.

PERSEPHONE: "Nico? Look at you, you've grown so much. Come here, let me see you, my child."

NICO: "Mamma... it's good to see you again. And you too, Papa."

HADES: "What time do you come from, my son? Has Gaia awakened?"

PERCY: "Lord Hades, Gaia has been defeated by the prophesied seven. However, it seems we're not permitted to share more details- judging by the glares from the Moirai."

HADES: "And, you are?"

POSEIDON: "My child. She is my child. I can feel the sea coursing through her. It claims her as its own. Curious... it usually ignores my demigod offsprings."

PERCY: "Father, Mother."

Mother?

AMPHITRITE: "Mother?"

PERCY: "I see you have not yet made your, agreement. You shall know in due time mother. I apologise for the wait. "

I suppose Amphitrite will finally taken my advice then. I always told her it would help.

ZEUS: "You? You are the prophesized Champion? The saviour of the Universe? hmph"

PERCY: "Always a pleasure to meet you uncle. Aunt Hestia, Lady Aphrodite, its a pleasure to meet you again."

HESTIA: "I can sense our claim on you. We have both agreed to make you our champions?"

PERCY: "All will hopefully be explained Aunt Hestia, Lady Aphrodite" "Speaking of, Atropos, why have you summoned us like this?"

ATROPOS: "All will be explained when the last of our guests arrive Persephone Jackson."

PERSEPHONE: Your name is Persephone as well child?

PERCY: "After you, my Lady. My mother always told me my happiness should come first, and, well, you seem to have the healthiest and happiest life among the gods."

Huh. I suppose she is not wrong.

*NO POV*

With a sudden bang, a group of demigods crashed onto the floor, disheveled but instantly on guard. Weapons drawn, they prepared for a fight, only to pause as they took in their familiar surroundings.

Beckendorf and Silena found each other across the chaos, eyes wide in disbelief. Neither could comprehend how they were seeing the other after so long. They took hesitant steps toward one another, as though afraid this reunion might not be real.

Nearby, Annabeth and Grover stumbled straight into Percy, their voices overlapping with frantic questions. "Where are we?" "What happened?" Percy barely had time to catch her breath as they crowded around her.

Will pulled Nico away from the growing commotion, his hands already checking Nico for injuries. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice calm, though his eyes were filled with concern.
