Long before Heeseung and Jaeyun had even realized they were in love, Jaeyun AKA Jake's best friend more like minions 'Kim Sunoo' and 'Yang Jungwon' -had already decided that the two were perfect for each other. They'd been the ultimate chaos duo, playing cupid for Heejake.

______

"You know they've been making heart eyes at each other for months, right?"

The one with foxy angelic eyes replied to his bestfriend "Duh! I mean, Heeseung hyung practically melts every time Jake hyung calls him 'Hee'."

Jungwon squealing softly plotting something in his little devil mind ."I bet he's totally whipped already. If they don't get together by the end of this year, I swear, I'm locking them in a room and throwing away the key."

The two had spent most of their time planning fake 'accidental' moments to push Heeseung and Jaeyun closer, from seating arrangements at group dinners to sabotaging Jaeyun's dating life with mysterious 'cancelled' reservations whenever Heeseung was nearby.

And it worked.

Now here they were, at Heeseung and Jaeyun's engagement party, watching their matchmaking skills finally pay off. But as always, Sunoo and Jungwon were way more excited than the actual couple. They weren't just Jaeyun's besties-they were their biggest shippers.

Hell they even declared Heejake as their second parents .

___

Meanwhile

While the party was in full swing, Park Sunghoon was... well, having the worst day of his life. He wasn't supposed to be going to this party alone. He had fully planned on showing up with his cousin, Jay -someone who could deflect all the socializing so Sunghoon could stand around in peace like the introverted menace he was. He was not a people person so the thought of arriving at the crowded party made him seethe .

As if he didn't already despise people enough.

But no. Of course not. Jay had ditched him last minute to pick up his boyfriend, Jungwon . The same Jungwon that Sunghoon now held a personal vendetta against.

Gritting his teeth Like a monster he dialled Jay's number "You seriously left me to fend for myself at this thing? Bros before hoes, Jay. Bros before hoes,!"

"Chill, man. I'm picking up my boyfriend. Besides, it's not like you need me to hold your hand at a party."

Sunghoon hung up on him, already planning how to choke Jay at the party later. But for now, he had to deal with the hell that was driving himself to the venue. He didn't even like people, and now he had to communicate with them. The horror.

---

Inside the venue, Kim Sunoo was already dazzling everyone with his divine presence. His flowing outfit paired with sparkling accessories made him the center of attention the moment he walked in.

Surely he was living his best life. He had just hugged Jaeyun like he was about to steal him away from Heeseung and threw out more congratulatory energy than the actual couple could handle.

"Congratulations! I mean, FINALLY! We've been shipping you two since forever."

Jaeyun sighed but hugged back sunoo with the same energy ."You and Jungwon are crazy, you know that, right? But thanks anyway."

Heeseung rolling his eyes playfully at sunoo replied "At least we can thank you for your matchmaking, I guess."

Sunoo waved them off dramatically, too busy feeling like the ultimate shipper.

But as Sunoo was searching for his bestie Jungwon to show off his outfit, he felt his heart skip a beat. Something was missing."Where is my wallet?!" Sunoo gasped, clutching his shiny purse decorated with way too many charms. He frantically searched through it again. No luck. Suddenly, realization hit him: the parking lot! He must have dropped it there after paying the taxi driver. Typical.

Sunoo's eyes widened in panic. He rushed to the parking lot, hoping it was still there, and sure enough, he spotted it-gleaming like a fallen star on the ground.

But just as he moved toward it, fate decided to pull one of its cruelest tricks. Out of nowhere, a shiny black Range Rover pulled into the lot, directly over his wallet.

"No... no, no, no, no!"

Such a Drama Queen. ( hey but that's my queen )

The culprit? None other than an angry-looking man stepping out of the car-Park Sunghoon.

___

Sunghoon, already in a terrible mood, stepped out of the car and blinked down at the ground. There was something shiny underneath his tire. A wallet. He glanced up and saw a furious Sunoo marching toward him like a designer-clad storm.

" EXCUSE ME!Did you just run over my wallet?!"

Sunghoon barely glancing down, in his signature deadpan "...You left it on the ground."

Sunoo's voice immediately rised with a dramatic tone.

"And you ran over it like it was nothing! That's a *Dior wallet*. Do you even know how expensive this is?"

This was the last thing Sunghoon needed today.

Sunghoon sighed, clearly not having the patience to deal with whatever drama this guy was about to throw his way. "It's just a wallet. You're fine. Get a new one."

How dare he-

Sunoo frozed .There it was. The ultimate ick. The casual *rich guy* response. Sunoo's blood boiled, his hands flying to his hips as he gave Sunghoon a death glare that could rival a laser beam.

"Just get a new one?! Do you have any idea how hard it was to find this? This is limited edition!"

Sunghoon, not in the mood for this level of drama, just raised one eyebrow back at him.

"You're rich, right? Your boyfriend can get you another."

Sunoo blinked. Then blinked again. His anger flared up so fast it nearly sent sparks flying.

Sunoo crossing his arms, sarcasm dripping from his voice "Wow. You're really on a roll today, huh? First, you ruined my day, and now you're making assumptions about my love life? FYI, I don't have a boyfriend, and second of all, I can buy my own wallet, thank you very much."

But Sunghoon was beyond caring at this point. His day had been a disaster, and arguing with a high-strung stranger about some *wallet* was the last thing he had the patience for.

He was still irritated from Jay abandoning him, wasn't in the mood to be lectured. "Good. Then there's no problem. Have a great day."

He tried to walk around Sunoo, but Sunoo was having none of it. He sidestepped into his path, blocking him with a fiery glare that could melt ice.

"Oh no, you don't! You're not getting off that easy. That wallet cost more than this parking lot, and I'm not just going to stand here and let you destroy it without taking responsibility!"

"Then... sue me"

Sunoo was now practically pacing in frustration as Sunghoon just stood there with his arms crossed, completely unfazed.

"You think this is funny? This isn't funny! I had my cards in there, and everything is bent, and do you know what this will do to my outfit aesthetic? Ruined. Absolutely ruined. This is the worst day of my life."

"Because of a wallet?"

Boy The Audacity .

Sunoo gasps clutching his chest like he'd been wounded

"It's not just a wallet! It's an investment in style. Not that you'd understand, Mr. Suit-and-Tie."

Sunghoon glanced down at his perfectly tailored suit, then back up at Sunoo. He wasn't about to admit it, but this strange, ridiculously dramatic guy was actually... kind of funny. He resisted the urge to smile. Barely.

And so, Sunghoon walked into the party, completely unaware that he'd just made the worst-or maybe best-enemy of his life.
