The engagement party of Lee Heeseung and Sim Jaeyun was the event of the season. Everyone had gathered at the fancy venue to celebrate the power couple. They were even the reason people had come to believe in love again. Gag, if you asked Park Sunghoon.Of course, the two lovebirds didn’t just magically fall into each other’s arms. No, it took years of meddling and scheming from Jaeyun’s two best friends, Kim Sunoo and Yang Jungwon, to push them together. And even now, standing in the middle of a perfectly curated engagement party, the two "matchmakers" were just as excited—if not more so—than the couple themselves.
While Sunoo and Jungwon reminisced about their successful matchmaking.
Park Sunghoon was hovering by the bar, still cursing his cousin Jay under his breath for ditching him. The last place Sunghoon wanted to be was at a packed engagement party, surrounded by people he had no interest in speaking to. He hated these types of events—too many forced smiles, too much small talk, and just a lot of people in general.
To make matters worse, his cousin bailed on him to pick up his boyfriend, Jungwon. Sunghoon didn’t have a problem with Jungwon—he just didn’t appreciate being left to fend for himself at a party where he only knew the couple getting engaged.Typical Jay behavior—drop and run whenever something more interesting comes along. Oh and the interesting thing is Yang jungw-
And, of course, the day had already been a disaster thanks to the wallet situation.

Sunghoon shook his head, his eyes scanning the crowd for his cousin, Jay, the real reason he was even stuck at this event. He was still furious about Jay ditching him for most of the night, leaving him to fend off the chaotic energy that was Sunoo.
As he spotted Jay laughing near the bar, Sunghoon marched over, the tension in his shoulders tightening. He was done with this evening and ready to leave, but not without giving Jay a piece of his mind first.
"You seriously bailed on me for hours so I could get harassed by that—"
Before he could finish, Jay turned with a broad smile, cutting him off. "Oh, relax, man. I was just making sure I had the perfect moment to introduce you to someone special."Jay stepped aside with a flourish, revealing Jungwon, his boyfriend, standing by his side. Jungwon flashed Sunghoon a shy smile, looking both cute and composed .
"Sunghoon, meet my boyfriend, Yang Jungwon."
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, his irritation momentarily forgotten as he took in the new face. Jungwon seemed nice enough, certainly more grounded than Jay—but before Sunghoon could say anything, a familiar voice rang out from behind him.
“Ahh look isn’t that Mr. Dior Crusher?”
Sunghoon stiffened. Of course, it was Sunoo.
Slowly, he turned around, his eyes narrowing at the sight of Sunoo standing there with a smirk, looking far too pleased with himself.
"You're everywhere, aren't you?"
Before Sunoo could retort, Jay cut in, clearly amused by the tension. "Oh, right! You two have met already, huh?" He nudged Jungwon playfully. "What a small world. Sunoo here is Jungwon's friend !"
Sunghoon’s eyes flicked between the two of them, his annoyance spiking. Of course, Sunoo and Jungwon were friends. How typical. He felt like the universe was playing some kind of joke on him. First, the argument about the wallet, and now he couldn’t even escape the guy.
Back at the party, Sunghoon congratulated himself on avoiding Sunoo for a good couple of hour . He wasn’t here to argue; he was here for Heeseung’s sake and planned on making a quick exit.
But, of course, the universe had other plans.
"Great. Just great."
Jungwon is smiling, unaware of the tension "Sunoo and I go way back. He’s like family, honestly."
Sunghoon’s eye twitched. Family. Perfect. Just when he thought he could walk away from this drama queen, he was now tied to him through his cousin's boyfriend.
“You don’t just squash someone’s Dior and expect them to let it go.”
“I didn’t squash it. I merely... repurposed it.”
Sunoo’s eyes widened in shock. “Repurposed? You flattened it like a pancake!”
“That’s what happens when you leave things lying around.”
Sunoo blinked, completely stunned by the audacity. “Lying around? It was in the parking lot for two minutes. I was literally coming back to get it!”
“Sounds like poor planning.”
Sunoo was momentarily speechless, struggling to process how infuriating this man was.
however a couple was watching them like this is some freaking comedy show going on .
Jay couldn’t hold back his laughter. “Man, you two are hilarious. This is better than TV.”
Sunghoon rolled his eyes. “Jay, do us both a favor and shut up.”
Jay just laughed, clapping a hand on Sunghoon’s shoulder. “C’mon, don’t be like that. You should thank me for ditching you earlier. If I’d stuck around, you wouldn’t be having this much fun.”
Sunghoon gave him a withering look. “Right. Because getting harassed over a wallet is so fun.”
Jungwon’s who has been giggling along with his boyfriend.“So what you’re saying is... Sunghoon ran over your stuff and won’t take responsibility? That’s so low.”
“It’s a wallet, not a crime scene.”
Hmmm but i think it might be Mr park?
Sunoo crossed his arms, giving Sunghoon a pointed look. “You still owe me, by the way.”
Sunghoon to himself get a grip, man. He's a walking disaster. Ignore him.
He turned his attention back to Jay, hoping to steer the conversation away from Sunoo. "So, when are we leaving?".
Sunoo gave him a bombastic side for ignoring him like that however he took Jungwon’s hand dashing somewhere not wanting to ruin his mood by this jerk .
Honestly , Sunoo is frustrated by the fact that the fucking man , oh he just got his name Sunghan...Sunghom whatever was that . Because if you look at his appearance you may think he might be the biggest gentleman . Meanwhile his personality defined something else...
How sad .
But wait Sunoo you'll get to know more about this man's wild crazy side!!!!
___
“Wow, you’re still pouting?” Jungwon teased, popping up next to Sunoo with a mischievous grin.
“I’m not pouting!” Sunoo huffed, glaring at his best friend. “I’m strategizing. That jerk just walked over my wallet like it was trash. You know how hard it is to find that Dior?”
Jungwon smirked. “Sounds like you’re more upset about the guy than the wallet.”
Sunoo blinked at him, momentarily thrown off by the comment. “What?! The guy? Don’t be ridiculous. He was—” Sunoo waved his hands dramatically. “Cold. Rude. Totally not my type.”
Sure man definitely not your 'type' .
