— BUCK'S P.O.V —

After our wedding ceremony, Eddie let me read his vow:

Many years ago from this day, I've dreamt of someone who can actually know and love me for who I am.

Ever since I became a firefighter here, I was always looking for someone to date, someone who really likes me, someone who cares about me and someone who will love my son as much as I love him.

But I never thought that someone is beside all along. A guy who never listens, the guy who always breaks the rules, the guy who will sue the department just to be with us again, and the guy who left to let us all heal and that's when we all realize, the fire house and our extended, messy family will always never feel complete and happy without him.

He's a big, bright light to this earth.

The big, bright light that brought light to my darkest times.

And that guy is none other than my soon-to-be-husband, Evan Buckley.

Thank you for being a part of my life, my love. I hope we'll be besplide each other no matter what happens. I love you.

This is the happiest I have ever been in my life. Having all of them at our wedding. Including my parents and Eddie's too.

A few weeks ago before our wedding, both of our parents talked. They talked about the wedding. My parents kind of caught off guard when I told them that I'm marrying Eddie. But no matter what they do or say, we've made our choices, we just needed their support.

Eddie's parents were all into it. They were so happy because Eddie finally came out on me and that we were getting married. They were very supportive of our decision.

My parents finally gave us their blessings to marry each other after we talked.

Eddie and I started talking about where the wedding will be. We couldn't decide whether it was gonna be in our house or at the church, so we decided to let Chris decide.

Christopher was the happiest when we told him that he could pick the place in which Eddie and I would be getting married.

"Buck!" Karen called me.

"Hey, Karen." I said.

I was now sitting on a chair, waiting for Eddie to come back because he was taking a wine glass for us.

"This place is beautiful!" She said.

"I know right." I agreed.

"Who picked the place? I thought you and Eddie were gonna do a wedding at home?" She asked me.

"We let Christopher pick the place. He said wanted the wedding to be at the beach so that's why we decided here." I explained.

We got wed at a beach. Christopher really loves the beach.

"Well, he does have a great taste. This place is beautiful."

"Yeah." I smiled.

"Alright, you two have a nice wedding date. I'll check on the kids there. Congratulations." She said as soon as she saw Eddie walking towards us.

"Alright, have fun!" I said.

"I will. Congrats to both of you!" She said.

"Thanks, Karen!" Eddie said.
