"Jungkook's POV"
As I staggered into my penthouse, the weight of the day pressed down on me like a leaden blanket. Each step felt like a mile, dragging me further into the chaos of my own mind. The moment I crossed the threshold, I was overwhelmed by a suffocating silence that echoed with memories of YN. I dragged myself to the shower, hoping the water could wash away the turmoil that had taken root in my chest.
Once inside, I turned the knob and let the cold water cascade over me, the shock jolting me awake. I closed my eyes, trying to block out everything but the sound of the water. As it poured down, I felt the heat of her lips, the way they had moved against mine, igniting a fire I couldn't extinguish. Just the thought made me hard again, and I cursed under my breath, my frustration mounting.
I tried to calm myself, the cold water doing little to quell the heat rising within me. I leaned against the cool tiles, letting the spray wash over my face, hoping it might drown out the memories. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't escape the vivid images of her—her eyes, her smile, the way her body moved so effortlessly. I wanted to forget, yet the more I tried, the more those thoughts consumed me.
Once I finally emerged from the shower, I changed into a pair of shorts, the fabric clinging to my damp skin. I threw myself onto the bed, the mattress feeling both familiar and foreign. Sleep eluded me; I felt restless, like something inside me was being torn apart. My mind raced with thoughts of YN, and the silence of my room only amplified the chaos swirling within.
After what felt like an eternity of tossing and turning, I couldn't take it anymore. I got up and walked toward the balcony, desperate for fresh air to clear my head. I lit a cigarette, inhaling deeply as the smoke curled around me, providing a momentary distraction from the storm brewing in my chest. Just as I began to lose myself in thought, my phone buzzed, interrupting the fragile calm.
It was Taehyung.
As soon as I picked up, loud music blasted through the receiver, and I could hear his voice shouting over the noise. "Jungkook! You won't believe whom I saw!" he yelled, excitement spilling through the line. I felt a flicker of disinterest; Taehyung was always seeing someone at some bar or club.
"Yeah? Who cares?" I replied, trying to keep my tone casual as I leaned against the balcony railing.
"You know that club downtown? I just saw an employee of your company there!"
My interest piqued immediately, the mention of my employee making my heart race. "Who?" I pressed, urgency creeping into my voice.
"Dude, it's YN!" he finally revealed, and my heart dropped. A mix of worry and anger surged through me. The image of her dancing, carefree between a crowd full of men, sent a jolt of adrenaline racing through my veins.
I took a deep puff of my cigarette, the ember glowing bright in the dim light of my penthouse. I extinguished it under my slipper, the remnants sizzling out as I hurriedly grabbed the first jacket I could find. My bike keys lay on the table, and I snatched them up, the weight of my decision pressing down on me.
I rushed to the garage, adrenaline surging through me. I donned my helmet and climbed onto my Harley-Davidson Fat Bob 114, the engine roaring to life beneath me. The sound reverberated through my bones, drowning out everything else as I tore onto the streets. The speed consumed me; the wind whipped against my face, but all I could think about was YN.
When I reached the club, I skidded to a halt, the tires screeching against the pavement. My heart pounded in my chest as I stepped off the bike, anger pulsing through my veins. I headed for the entrance, pushing past the throngs of people, the noise of laughter and music fading into the background. I was a man on a mission, and nothing was going to stop me.
