Not so little secret ~Evan 'buck' Buckley

Part 1

Bucks PoV
My alarm goes off at 6:00 am. I quickly shut it off and get up and quickly have a shower. I get dressed in some joggers and a vest and put my LAFD uniform in my bag and then head to the kitchen to start making breakfast. Once breakfast is ready I head to Ella's room. When I walk in I see she is awake and she sees me walk in and turn the light on "daddy" she smiles and puts her hands up telling me she wants picking up. I change her nappy and get her ready for the day in some leggings and a cute little t-shirt and jumper. "Right it's yoghurt and fruit for breakfast angel" she claps her hands and I pick her up and take her to the kitchen she eats her yoghurt sat in her high chair and then I get her some milk in a sippy cup. I check my watch "shoot, Ella baby time to go or daddy will be late for work" I pick all my bags up and grab Ella and carry her on my hip and then we go to the car. I strap her in her seat and then we go to her daycare, I walk her to the door and her teacher is waiting for her "morning mr Buckley, hello Ella" I smile at her and hand all Ella's things to her and I give Ella one last hug before I leave. I'm working till 6 tonight so her nanny will pick her up, I arrive at work and I'm 20 minutes late. "Buck your late again this is the third time this week please go to my office" I turn around and walk into caps office and sit down and he comes in and does the same. "Buck is there any reason in particular you are late cause if there is then I can know and then I can't be mad and we can all help you" I shake my head "no cap there's nothing to worry about it won't happen again I swear" Bobby nods and I go to the locker room and change.

Time skip to after shift

Im about to leave and Eddie asks me if I want to hang out because Chris is at a sleep over at hens house. Nobody knows about Ella yet but maybe one person knowing won't hurt "buck are you free?" I nod at him and smile "yeah but can we hang out at my house" Eddie says sure and we both get in my jeep and drive to my house. When I get there I put the car in park and lock it. We go to the elevator and we go in and Ella runs over to me "daddy!!"  She jumps into my arms and I hug her "hey princess" I thank Emily the nanny and she leaves and I walk over to the kitchen with Ella still in my arms. I turn around remembering that Eddie is here and his face is shocked "wait hang on did she call you daddy" I scratch the back of my head and half laugh "this is my daughter Ella" Eddie comes over and sits down on the stool at the island "how old is she" I put Ella down and hand her some biscuits and she goes back to play with her toys "2 and a half her birthdays in April" Eddie looks even more shocked now "wait so you've been a dad since before you joined the 118 and you didn't tell anyone" I nod and smile at him  "anymore question or can we take the popcorn and pizza and watch a movie" Eddie laughs and he picks up the pizza box and we go and sit down we put the movie on and Ella cuddles into my side and about half way through she falls asleep me not long after.

Eddies PoV
I notice both the Buckleys have fallen asleep so I get up and find Ella's room and then I go back and pick her up and take her to her room I quickly get her changed into some pjs and then put her in her bed. Luckily she doesn't wake up.
Then I go back into the living room and wake buck up abit. "Time for bed buck" he groans and I lead him to his room and I tell him to get ready for bed. "Right see you in the morning buck" he is already in bed and half nods so I leave him a message as well : see you at shift I made sure you both go to bed but decided to leave : then I left and locked his door with my key and went home

The next morning

Bucks PoV
I set my alarm 30 minutes earlier so I'm not late again. I get up and make breakfast and I hear Ella crying so I go to her room and pick her up out of her bed I get her changed and then we go grab breakfast. I give her some food and while she's eating I do her hair and then go get dressed. I look at my watch and see I don't have time to make myself breakfast so I grab Ella and we go brush our teeth. I do my own and then help her with hers and then we grab our bags and head to her nursery. Once she's inside I get back in the jeep and head to work and when I get there I'm still 10 minutes late so I hurry up and get ready and head upstairs. I make myself a coffee and then sit down next to Eddie and get my phone out.

A few hours later

Im just sat on the sofa and Eddie comes over to me "hey buck do you want to hang out later maybe we could go out for food and Christopher could meet Ella" i look at him and smile I would but im really tired and im late for work everyday as it is maybe tomorrow night as we are not working Saturday so it doesn't matter if im up later on Friday night" Eddie nods "ye that's fine if you need any help just let me know I understand how hard it can be" I nod at him and then the bell goes for another call.
