Not so little secret ~Evan 'buck' Buckley

Part 2

Bucks PoV
Eddie has know about Ella for nearly a month now and her and Chris are such good friends. Eddie thinks I should tell Bobby and Athena but I'm too scared to. Before it was a secret and then I put a picture of me Ella and maddie on my Facebook and they all believe she was Maddie's. Now I'm scared to tell them in case they hate me for lying to them. Anyway it's December and we are taking Ella and Chris to go see Santa so I get her dressed in a red sparkly dress with black tights and a black fluffy coat. Then we go into the bathroom and I set Ella on the counter "buns or pigtails" she takes a minute to answer "ummm buns!!" I put her hair in buns and then put two little red bows one on each bun and then she goes and sits on the couch while I get ready. I put on some grey joggers and a white T-shirt and a grey hoodie. I've not been feeling great the last 2 days luckily it's been my days off work but I go back tomorrow and if anything I feel worse.
Eddie arrives
Once Eddie gets here I let him in because we don't need to leave for another 15 minutes Eddie sits down and Ella show him her painting from nursery and I get her nappy bag ready and then I go and get my phone off of the charger. "Right shall we go then" Eddie nods and Christopher and Ella run to the door "we can go in your jeep buck cause Chris' seat is easier to switch over" I nod at him and we head outside, I strap Ella in her car seat and Eddie gets Chris in the car and then me and Eddie get in aswell we drive their and the whole way Chris is telling us about his day at school. Once we arrive the kids go to one of the elves and get in line but adults aren't allowed to go with them. They both talk to Santa and me and Eddie take lots of pictures and then they have a picture together and Eddie puts it on his Facebook. We leave and decide to go home and order a pizza.
About an hour later.
Eddies PoV
We are sat in the living room and Ella and buck have fallen asleep cuddled up with each other and Chris is nearly asleep on bucks over side. I take a picture as I think it's so cute how they are all together. I decide to clean up the pizza boxes and put the leftovers all into one box and put them in the fridge. I go back to the sofa and sit back down and after about 20 minutes I feel myself start to drift off too.
The next day
I wake up and buck is still asleep but I see that Christopher and Ella have both woken up already and are playing. "Come on guys let's go to the kitchen so we can let buck sleep ok" they both come over and take my hands "who's buck" I look down at Ella "I meant your daddy" "ohhhhh" when we get to the kitchen I help Chris onto the chair and put Ella in her high chair and turn the tv on but I make sure it's quiet. I just make them some cereal as I'm not a great cook and I get Chris some apple juice and Ella some milk in her sippy cup "morning buck" he gives me a small smile and sits at the island and runs a hand through Ella's hair "morning princess" she smiles and has another mouthful of cereal and I pass buck a bowl "thanks" I nod and sit down with my own bowl "so buck what do you want to do today we have two hours before work" we have started doing it so at the weekends Carla looks after Chris and Ella together so that they can see each other more.

Bucks PoV
"I don't mind we could watch some movies" Eddie agrees and we get ready for the day and then go and sit in the living room. Carla arrives and she meets Ella for the first time. She said I should have told her especially since I got Eddie to get Carla's help with Chris. As we left Ella was already rambling in to Carla about nursery and showing her all her toys. We go in my jeep and drove to work. Carla is looking after them until 4 because she has a meeting after and then Emily is going to look after Ella till 7 and Chris' Abuela will come and pick him up. It's a pretty chill day at the station with pretty q word calls and me and hen play video games in between calls.
Skip to 6:00pm 
We were all sat around doing our own things when I got a call from Emily so I stood up and left the room to take the call. "Hi Emily is everything alright"  she waits a minute "I'm so so sorry buck but there been a family emergency and I'm gonna have to go back to France like right now and I won't be coming back" I'm so so shocked and I don't know what to do "is there anyone I can't drop her off with? Any family?" I stand up with my head against the locker and what I haven't realised is Eddie has came in "no Emily I don't have any family. I only have maddie and she's working till 8" I wait for a moment and sigh "your gonna have to bring her here" "ok. I'm so sorry buck" I put the phone down and slide to the floor and Eddie comes and sits next to me "what has happened" I look at him "Emily is going back to France right now and I don't have anywhere for Ella to go so she's bringing her here" Eddie puts his hand on my arm "and now I don't have a babysitter and I have a 24 hour shift tomorrow and Eddie I don't know what to do" he just runs his hand up and down my arm and we sit there in silence for a bit
