Chapter 2- Asking the parents

++Harry's pov++

After dropping Ginny off at The Burrow I apparated to Diagon Alley. I looked around and saw hundreds of people walking around like mad. Why are there so many people here today? Ah, who am I kidding there's always loads of people! I started to walk around on the old street looking for some sort of jewelry. After what seemed like forever I found a small shop called Kay Jewelers. (A/N I couldn't think of anything else so I just used something that I've heard of) I opened the door to see a short blonde witch and a tall brunette wizard.

"Hi," I simply said walking up to the counter. "I would like to purchase an engagement ring for my girlfriend"

"Blimey! You're Harry Potter!" The man almost screamed.

"Er yes can I just look at the rings now?"

"So who's the lucky lady?" The blonde asked getting a little too close for comfort.

"Um Ginny. Now just keep it a secret until at least tomorrow!" I demanded hoping neither of them would ruin my plans. Wait I haven't made any plans! How am i supposed to bloody do this?

I started looking until I came across the most gorgeous ring I've ever seen. It's a white gold band, with swirled diamonds around it, and a large circular diamond in the middle, surrounded by more swirled diamonds around it. (A/N I have the ring pictured above)

"I think I found the one!" I said so excited I thought I was going to explode!

"Great, Mr. Potter. Any special requests?" The man asked with a pearly white smile.

"Can I get Always engraved in the inside of the band?" I asked praying that they could engrave it.

"Sure thing." He simply said. With the wave of his wand the word Always appeared. It simply amazed me, but I'm amazed everyday by magic. "How do you like it?"

"I love it! I think she'll love it too!" I exclaimed grinning from ear to ear.

"That'll be 400 galleons and 7 knuts, please." The man said walking toward the register.

I happily paid and walked out. I went into George's shop (A/N Fred :((() and asked for a bag. A person who I've never seen handed me one and I walked out. I got the bag so I could put the ring in it so it wouldn't look suspicious. And with that I apparated back to The Burrow.

++Ginny's Pov++

I heard a pop and walked out from the kitchen to see that Harry was back.

"Harry!" I exclaimed practically jumping into his arms. He started to kiss me with lots of passion and I gave him just as much. Harry pulled my waist closer to him and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I loved when we kissed like this, It made me fall in love with him all over again, every time.

"MMHHMMM" Ron coughed causing Harry and I to jump ten feet away from each other. We were both blushing as we turned to see Ron, Hermione, mum, and George standing by the table.

"So, what did you get? You were gone for ages!" i said turning back to Harry, looking at a bag from Fred and George's shop.

"Oh nothing really just a few things, you'll see."

"Bloody Hell. Harry if you prank me with something from there I'll hex you to oblivion!" I yelled hoping whatever in that bag isn't meant for me. (A/N wink wink)

---Later in the day---

++Harry's pov++

"Hi... er... Molly and Arthur can I talk to you outside?"I ask standing up from the table after a delicious dinner prepared by Molly.

"Oh sure Harry, dear." Molly said while her, Arthur, and I walked outside.

"So er I was wondering if er you would be okay with... um me asking Ginny to marry me?" I ask with my heart pounding and my stomach turning in knots. I'm almost positive I'm blushing.

"Are you sure you love her?" Arthur asked with an unreadable expression.

"I'm very positive. I love Ginny with all my heart. I would die if she wasn't in my life! She makes me whole. Every time I look at her my heart melts and I fall in love all over again. Ginny is the best thing that ever happened to me. She taught me how to open up to people, to realize that I'm actually a good person. That even though sometimes we both feel like hell because we start to think about the past few years she knows how to make me happy." I say realizing even more how much I love Ginny.

"Welcome to the family!" Molly says pulling me into a tight hug. I look up to see Arthur with tears in his eyes,

"You be good to Ginny alright." Arthur says hugging me.

++Ginny's pov++

Harry wanted to talk to my mum and dad about something, I wonder what. I walk upstairs to my old room and lay down in my old bed. I start to think of the first kiss Harry and I shared after the war.

I walk down the long corridor covered in blood and dirt, I'm on my way to the Gryffindor common room when I bump into someone. Harry. I looked at him with tears in my eyes and give him the tightest hug I've ever given. Both of us start to cry. We cry for each other, the people we've lost, and that we actually won. It was a mix of emotions. I pulled away and looked into his eyes filled with pain and agony. I kissed him. I kissed him like never before. It was filled with passion, with so much love. His tongue grazed my bottom lip, I opened my mouth allowing entrance. I loved him so much, I just didn't know how to say it. We pulled away at the same time just looking at each other with so much love. I loved Harry Potter and I knew he loved me. Harry finally spoke up, "Do you want to go back to the common room, so we can talk?" I grabbed his extended hand and we walked back silently. We sat on the couch, I was sitting on his lap, my legs lay along the couch. We talked about horcruxes, my year at Hogwarts, and much more. Out of no where the words came out of my mouth, "I love You Harry James Potter." He looked at me, I was nervous, I could have sworn he felt the same way. He kissed me but not for long. "I love you too Ginevra Molly Weasley."

I was knocked out of my thoughts when Harry came through the door laying beside me. "Do you want to sleep here tonight?" Harry asked while holding my hand, playing with my fingers.

"Sure"

"Do you want to go see what Ron and Hermione are doing, maybe we can play a game or something?"

"Yeah that sounds like fun!"

We walk hand in hand upstairs to Ron and Hermione's room. When we reach there room we open the door to find them snogging, we all laugh and sit on the floor.

"Do you want to play Never have I ever?" I asked

"Yeah!" Ron chanted "I'm going downstairs to get some fire whiskey"

When Ron got back we started to play, Ron goes first.

"Never have I ever showered with someone" Ron says, we all take a drink, Ron glares and Harry and I while Hermione starts to giggle.

Harry's turn, "Never have I ever Ridden a dragon." Everyone took a drink except me.

My turn, "Never have I ever had a sexual dream" Everyone drank.

"Bloody hell!" Ron yelled looking at me. "I don't even want to know."

Hermione's turn, "Never have I ever had sex in the water." Ron and Hermione drank

Bloody hell, I thought. I didn't even know you could do that! I looked at Hermione, "Doesn't that hurt! You know water going up there!"

"Oh Gin." Is all Hermione could let out before falling backwards from laughing so much.

Damn, she's such a light weight. I laughed at myself not feeling as sober as I thought I was. By the end of the night we were all drunk and ended up falling asleep on the floor.

Sorry guys I thought I would add the engagement but I started to get into too much detail and i'm tired now. So have a nice night. love you guys! I'll update sometime tomorrow!! xxx
