A week has passed and our heroes have traveled again after making sure Y/n was ready for travel. Dally has already apologized to the eliatropes, and while Y/n readily forgave him, Yugo didn't yet, but lets himself be on friendly terms with Dally. Now let's go back to watching our favorite group of heroes.

Eva: it was my first day as a lady-in-waiting, and I wasn't sure what to say...

Eliatrope duo: and then?

Eva: well, you're gonna laugh. I told her what I really thought. That she looked like a Gobball! Of course, she didn't listen and worse the dress anyway. For months afterward, everyone called her Princess Gobball!

Yugo and Y/n laugh while Amalila does nit look amused as our heroes walk through the forest, approaching the mountain.

Amalila: I should have told my father to send you all to jail! You wouldn't have been laughing then!

~~mini timeskip~~

Our heroes are now on a bridge, the ground below them being hidden by a purple, foggy mist as bats fly past them. The rocky bridge seems to lead them toa mountain shaped like a tower, with a castle in the middle of it.

Y/n, quietly: d-do...do we have to go through there to get to Oma Island?

Dally: According to the map, we have to go through the village...the name of the village of Forfut Village.

Y/n frowns, getting a very bad vibe from the place and their instincts seem to be telling them not to go into the dark and spooky place...but that could be past trauma speaking. Yugo notices this and smiles softly, gently grabbing her hand.

Yugo: Don't worry, Y/n/n! We'll be fine! We always are!

Y/n nods, but it doesn't ease their fear, especially once they spot something big and black flying past them at a fast pace. Yugo and Y/n could have sworn they heard the creature say 'hi your majesties', but hey, who knows.

Skribble: Yes, you've got no choice. Don't worry, it's a nice place. Very lively.

Yugo: lively?

Y/n: m-more like asleep...

Amalila: Nature is twisted here. It's like...there are shadows moving through the village

Ruel picks up a fish that looks like it has been dead for a long period of time and opens his mouth, eating the fish. The group then starts to walk as Amalia turns to yell at Ruel, and then the two catch up to the group.

Yugo: We can get some food and rest anyway

Y/n: H-hopefully the people there aren't mean or trying to trick us

Eva: Let's just hope we wake up again.

Y/n squeaks in fear at that and hides behind Yugo, who blinks in surprise, before pulling Y/n into a hug. Eva notices and smiles softly.

Eva: Sorry Y/n, it's just wise to be cautious

Y/n, nodding with a squeak: I-It's fine Eva...I-I understand...

Dally: Now to find the finest inn in town. I could eat a Boowolf!

Yugo: Me too. I'd eat the fur off a Gobball's back

Y/n:....t-that's gross, Yugo

Yugo smiles sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck as Y/n rolls their eyes. The heroes walk into town, off put by how...dead and empty it looks. Y/n looks around, frowning at how dead the people there look...just, standing there with empty eyes. Y/n and Yugo swear they can feel someone, or multiple people, watching them, causing the hairs at the back of their neck to rise.
