Kings and Queen REWRITE

A New Moon

Our heroes were walking around the forest, the sun slowly setting in the distance as the royal trio leads the way, with Y/n holding her kings hands. Eva sighs and looks up, eyes squinted.

Eva: I think we should rest here for now before it gets too dark. We don't want to get lost.

Amalia: Good idea Eva! My feet were getting tired from all the walking.

Eva sighs softly and smiles, shaking her head as the royal trio blink, looking at the cra.

Eva: Alright then, we will set up camp here. Ruel, do you still have the supplies?

Ruel, nodding: O course I do!...but we might need more later

Eva, nodding: Alright, I'll start a campfire. Y/n go get some sticks or berries for us to eat in case the boys complain...again. Yugo, Adamai, you go with them. We don't want Y/n getting ambushed...again.

The queen pouts and the kings nod, gently dragging her away to find some stick and berries. The three stay close to the campsite and find some sticks, but not any edible berries. Yugo's hat eats twitch and he looks up, looking at the stars, almost in a trance. Adamai and Y/n notice this, with Y/n tilting her head.

Y/n: Yugo...you okay?

Adamai: you alright, bro?

Yugo, snapping out of it: Y-yeah, I'm fine

Y/n frowns and cross their arms, exchanging a look with Adamai since they both don't believe him. Yugo looks nervous.

Yugo: g-guys, I'm fine! Promise!

Y/n: liar

Adamai: you've been off for the past few days, Yugo!

Y/n: and there is something you both aren't telling me. Eva and Dally wouldn't tell me about the fight that happened, and you all have been avoiding it....but we are away from the others now, so tell me....I don't want to see you both sad

Yugo and Adamai nod, looking at Y/n and having a silent conversation. A flash of fearless goes into Yugo's eyes, before disappearing, but not before Adamai and Y/n notice. The two exchange a glance as Yugo sighs softly.

Yugo: well...me, Adamai, Eva, and Dally were fighting the grim you met earlier, Alpha Fang. Rubilax seemed to know him, and the grim said some things...

Y/n's eyes widen, and then soft. For some reason, Y/n isn't surprised, almost like they were expecting this, but they push that thought to the back of their mind, not noticing how nervous Yugo and Adamai got when they got so close to the truth. Y/n pulls the two down onto a log, sitting in between them. The kings blink in surprise, then blush when Y/n wraps their arms around their waist and pulled them into a hug.

Y/n, softly: and then what happened?

Adamai: Alpha Fang wanted us to hand you over so you could help his master with something. We refused, and that's when he attacked. He also called us the kings, and you the queen...but I think you can figure out what that is in reference to

Y/n, nodding: mhm...you two are the kings of our people, and I'm the queen...and, yes, I know and am having visions of the past...I'll tell you about them later. Is there anything else?

Yugo, nodding: yeah. Me and Adamai seemed to be the only ones to be able to cause any damage to him. Eva's arrows couldn't affect him, and Dally had to get close to hurt him.
