We open to a rather unsettling and deserted town where a family drives through the main street to find their destination
Mother: are you sure this is New York City
Father: yeah absolutely, now if I'm not mistaken this here is uh, Broadway 'what's that street sign day?'
Mother: Gator avenue
Father: hm, I wonder how far Gator Avenue is from Broadway
Daughter: according to this map, 2000 miles
Father: well in that case, we're going to need to fill up the tank, ha ha
The father pulled up to the gas station and just as he opened up his door he looks around for someone to help him with directions
Father: Hello? Hello, anybody there, hello
He went to fill up his gas tank as the dog ran off
Daughter: Puddles, come back
The daughter went to get her dog and puddles was growling at something and went into some weeds as the father noticed the gas depository was outdated and most likely empty as his daughter looks for her dog
Daughter: puddles
She noticed something in the bush and suddenly out of nowhere a hideous creature jumps and snaps at her causing her to scream so loud her parents heard her and saw her running back to the car
Daughter: GATOR MAN!
Father: oh sweetie there's no such thing as
Suddenly the gator man jumped out of the bushes in front of the father
Father: GATOR MAN!
He ran straight to his car as another gator creature jumped on the windshield scaring the family and the car drives away from the terrifying creatures but stopped for a moment for the girl gets her little dog back
Daughter: Puddles
The car drives straight out of town as the creatures went back into the marshes
We cut to Fred's house as everyone was doing their own thing, Fred was building another one of his ridiculous traps, Daphne was reading the magazines, Luke was leading against the wall listening to music, Shaggy and Scooby were next to Daphne on the couch and all were feeling bored
Velma: oh, I am so bored, we haven't had a good mystery in I don't know when!
Lukas: what last week when we stopped that farmer ghost haunting that farm but it was just a ranch hand trying to find some stolen jewelry he hide on the land
Velma: that one was kinda boring and went too quickly
Daphne: Fred, I think I've read every magazine in your house
Daphne: "noticed something in the cushions" what's that?
Fred: "noticed what she found" No, don't!
Fred lunged forward to stop Daphne but she was too quick and saw what Fred's been hiding a trap magazine with a pretty girl in a bikini on the cover
Daphne: 'Traps Illustrated' Freddy!
Lukas: Fred, you sly dog been holding out on us huh
Fred: I uh, I read it for the articles, in fact it's where I got the idea for this little beauty
