You are at Tae's clinic, getting an exam.

Tae: "How have you been doing? It's been a few days since I last saw you. Have you been eating properly? Sleeping well enough?"

"I have. Pretty considerate of you despite the odd circumstances of our first meeting, and that I often come here to see what you have in stock."

Tae: "Well, I prefer people stay alive after meeting with me, and things have been a little tight, so money helps."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Tae: "Nothing to be too concerned about."

"Okay then."

After the exam was finished, Tae looked at her clipboard and went over her notes.

Tae: "By the way, you overhear some conversations of mine?"

"Just some guy talking about experimental medicine of some kind. Although I don't really know if that's true."

Tae: "Well, I have ideas for them, but I haven't tested them out yet. Need test subjects for that, but no one is interested."

"Well, can I help?"

Tae: "You sure about that?"

"Yeah."

Tae: "Alright then. Be right back."

Tae leaves the room for a few minutes and then returns with a glass of strange liquid.

Tae: "Here you go. If you're worried about the side effects, you can relax. Rest assured, my autopsy is guaranteed to find out what part of it killed you."

"How comforting. Well, here goes nothing."

You drank the whole cup and ended up experiencing a bitter yet sour taste before blacking out. After an unknown amount of time, you regained consciousness.

Tae: "Good evening."

"Have I been out for that long?"

Tae: "Remember anything from the moment you took the medicine until now?"

"Not really."

Tae: "Are you out of your mind? Only an idiot would have drank that."

"Well, what's done is done."

Tae: "By the way, you lost consciousness because of the taste."

"It certainly was a strong one. Might have a hard time getting it out of my mouth."

Tae: "It'll be fine. All that matters is that I got some good data."

"Good for you. So, I guess I'm your unofficial test subject?"

Tae: "Yep. By the way, last time you were here, you said something about strange dreams?"

"Yeah, kinda why I came here in the first place for the medicine."

Tae: "Well, maybe the one I'm working on will help you with that."

"Hopefully."

As you left the clinic and headed for home, you received a text message from a mysterious contact named "Igor".

"You can see what normally needs a special gateway. Find the Trickster and aid him from both sides," it read.

"Weird," you commented, "But so is my "thing". Alright then, I'll start tomorrow."
