Ymir POV:

It had been two days. Two days since Christa had left. I have always been broken but this is Somthing else. When Christa is gone I feel empty inside. Like anything I do doesn’t matter. I just want Christa to come back. That’s all I want.

I was still sitting on the ground. I hadn’t moved at all. My hair was a mess, I smelt like alcohol, glass was every wear. I had a huge cut in my hand, dried blood on my skin and clothes. I looked like complete shit.

I grabbed my phone. No notifications. No nothing. Wouldn’t it be funny if I just died? No one would even know. What a fun thought.

I looked around me. Empty bottles everywhere. I had only two cigarettes left. I lit the first one. Enjoying it while it lasts.

Soon I made it to the final cigarette. I took long puffs. Just letting the smoke fill my lungs. It felt good. A nice tingling sensation in my lungs. It’s probably the feeling of my organs dying but oh well. There’s nothing that can fix it.

Christa POV:

I can’t. I need to know if Ymir is okay. I need to know.

“ Mikasa it has been two days. I’m going wether you wish to come or not” I said walking out the door. Mikasa quickly ran after me. We then walked to her house together.

Mikasa stopped me when we made it to the door. She looked deep into my eyes.

“ Christa listen. I’ll stay out of the way but if she lays one finger on you, I won’t hold back. I’m not letting you get hurt again. I’ll wait outside. Yell if you need me” Mikasa reassured me. I nodded before walking in through the door.

No lights were on. Everything was dark. I then saw Ymir. She was sitting in the ground against the wall. Empty bottles and glass shards around the floor. Even… blood.

Ymir noticed me. She looked away and brought her knees up to her chest. She looked terrible. My eyes waters up seeing her like this Ymir.

“Y-Ymir” I stuttered. No answer.

“Can I hug you?” I asked on the verge of crying. I saw Ymir’s head slowly nod. I quickly went down and hugged her close. She reeked of cannabis and alcahol but I didn’t care. I was just happy I could see her again.

I felt like crying but I knew I had to be strong. I didn’t let one single tear come out.

I soon felt Ymir’s arms wrap around my waist hugging me. Her face was in my shoulder. Crying. She was crying hard.

“ you said you wouldn’t leave” I heard her mumble. I just continued to hold her.

We stayed like this for a few moments until I backed away a bit. I but my hands on her cheeks, whipping away the tears. She turned her head away from me. As if she didn’t want me to see her like this.

I looked down and saw a large shard of glass in the palm of her hand. It looked like it was causing her pain.

I slowly stood up and held my hands out. Ymir grabbed my hand and stood up as well. I guided her tot he bathroom. I patted my hand on the counter top. She hopped onto it and sat down. I grabbed some bandage wrap and disinfectant.

“ This is going to hurt” I said grabbing onto the peice of glass. In seconds I slowly pulled it out of her hand. Ymir didn’t even flinch. She looked numb. I grabbed the disinfectant and cleaned the wound and all of the dried blood. After that I bandaged up her hand with medical wrap.
