Light shined through Wills room as Will groaned and curled up under the covers. Last night was rough. He didn't want to face Mike again. He couldn't. And Lucas too. He at least wanted to talk to Lucas though. He just missed the way things used to be. He wanted his old friends back.

The friends that didn't care about girls and wanted to play D&D and actually cared about him. And god Mike. He basically insulted him with his sexuality. Does Mike know? Uh oh.

Will got onto his bike and rode to Dustin's house. He sighed before knocking on his door. Ms. Henderson opened the door with a bright smile.

"Hey Will!" She exclaimed inviting him in. "Hey Ms. Henderson... is Dustin home?" Will asked as he walked in.

"Yes of course dear. He's in his room." She replied gesturing to the hallway. Will smiled and nodded as he headed to Dustin's room.

He knocked and heard a light 'come in'. Will went in seeing Dustin in his bed reading a comic book. "Hey Dustin." Will said softly.

"Hey Will." Dustin smiled gesturing him to sit on his bed. "What's up?" He asked.

"Well first sorry about leaving you last night. We were all just tired." Will said feeling guilty. "Oh don't worry it's fine. It's been a long day. Though I don't think Mike and El have an excuse." Dustin said rolling his eyes.

"Yea about that... they broke up." Will said as Dustin's eyes went wide. "Wait seriously? But why? Everything seemed perfect." Dustin said in disbelief.

"Mike lied to El and then she become friends with Max and then me, Mike, and Lucas went to the mall to pick out a present for her. And then we met them at the mall and she dumped his ass." Will said summing everything up.

"Damn I really did miss a lot huh?" He asked shocked. "There's more..." Will said nervously.

Dustin raised an eyebrow. "Me and Mike had a fight... I might've called El stupid. But I know she's not. I will be eternally grateful for her. But after I said that he said 'Els not stupid. It's not fault you dint like girls' I felt ashamed in that moment. He tried to fix it but the damage was done I rode away hearing him call my name. They went to my house to apologize but I wouldn't listen." Will explained.

"What the hell...?" Dustin asked in disbelief. Will nodded tears clouding his vision. Dustin saw and pulled Will into a tight hug. Will gladly hug back and started to let the tears flow down his cheeks. Dustin didn't say a word. He just hugged him.

Will didn't want to let go. He needed this. All he wanted was comfort. "It's going to be okay Will. Why did you and Mike fight anyway...?" Dustin asked cautiously.

"I don't want to say. It's stupid." Will said as they pulled away from each other. "I'm sure it's not." Dustin said grabbing his hand.

"I just wanted to hang out with them. But all they wanted to do was talk about girls. I just wanted to feel like a normal kid. Even if it's just for one night. But I'm not normal. And I never will be. After everything that's happened to me I just don't feel the same. While I was gone you guys seemed to be growing up but all I want to do is be a kid. I just want to be normal." Will said trying not to cry again.

Dustin squeezed his hand. "No one's normal Will. If that was the case life would be pretty boring. I'm sorry about everything you went through. I love you. Mike and Lucas do to. We all do. That week was hard on all of us but especially Mike. God he went crazy." Dustin said letting out a breathy laugh.

Will laid his head on Dustin's shoulder. "He had El though." Will said not believing anything.

"He tried to send her back but then once he realized she was useful in finding you we kept her." Dustin said smiling slightly.

Really?" Will said wiping his tears. "Really. Not let's stop being emotional have have fun. Just you and me. You wanna watch a movie?" Dustin suggested.

Will nodded. They are snacks while laughing at shitty horror movies. This is what Will needed. A friend.

I know it seems like I'm shipping them but I'm not. I really hope to see this friendship in season 5.
