Arthur cupped Joseph's face with his working hands and kissed him back but in an instant, pushed him away.

Joseph's face had immediately dropped and he felt embarrassed. Arthur had extreme guilt and quickly whispered in his ear.

"This feels wrong, also everyone is around.." The tension in the air was so thick it could be cut with a knife.

Joseph was furious, he hollered, "But I thought we had something, I have never caught feelings for any man before...except maybe Caesar... Anyways! Why does it matter!?"

Arthur was appalled, he began to snap "What do you mean 'Why does it matter' *mockingly* You never see men kiss boys!" He continued on - "I used to love a woman, her name was Mary,-"

Joseph visibly was fuming "You believe you're the only one I've ever caught feelings for!? You are so self-centered. I used to have a girlfriend too. At least I am man enough to know how to handle my feelings and I don't let the world control me. Learn to accept who you are you big wuss."

Joseph had stomped away in the direction of a dirt path. Arthur didn't have the strength to chase after him and was praying no one had heard their bickering. He sat back down on his bed with his hands scrunching his dirty blonde hair. He didn't know what to do, he was stressed. He did truly have feelings for JoJo but he was afraid of everyone else.

Abruptly he stood up, threw on his hat and ran the same way Joseph did. His boots slung mud, making his jeans dirtier with every quick step but he didn't care. He needed to make amends with Joseph. After picking up his pace Joseph was finally back in his sight. "Joseph, Stop!"

JoJo barely turned his head and Arthur was almost next to him. Arthur took his final step, aggressively grabbing Joseph's hand and turned him around.

" I do want to build a romantic relationship with you, but I'm bad. I am not the one most people want to be around. I am wanted for robbery and murder. People are paying money to have me dead! I'm worried about hurting you and you know I'm right about the views of others! Not to mention this is all very new to me."

Joseph saw the endearment in his eyes and told him, "I do understand your point, I wish we were in a better world, I know we're different, trust me I'm not perfect either. I desperately want to learn about you Arthur. I know we can make things work."

They both stared in to each other's eyes as if they were looking through one another's hearts. They stood still continuing to hold their hands together.

"I guess I also don't know much about you." Arthur said in a breathy tone.
