It's been a week since my engagement. Things haven't been the same since, obviously. Wedding planning hasn't be easy especially with Vincenzo being M.I.A since my birthday party. Everything I have planned has gone through his assistant instead.
Luca informed me that he's actually on the other side of the world right now, in Italy. Paparazzi has caught him in and out of bars and strip clubs. Thank goodness no one knows about our engagement yet. Well except the people who were at my party but they don't talk. I know we aren't actually together but it's embarrassing having my future husband at strip clubs.
His father apologized on his behalf. That's just insane isn't it. Having your own father apologize to your fiancé for your own actions. I'm not hurt, although that would seem more reasonable, just bothered by the fact that he humiliated my family.
Anyways, college decisions come out in a few days. If anything goes according to plan I will get accepted into NYU and study business and maybe law. Other than being trained for the mafia I have also spent hours upon hours studying.
I take my education very seriously and this marriage won't be the end of that.
Suddenly I am broken out of my trance, "Good morning miss, your dad has requested you to join them in the dining hall"
"Thank you Ms. Farr, I'll head downstairs in a little bit," I thank her and head to my closet to pick an outfit before going to the bathroom to change.
I'm going for something cute but confortable at the same time. I have some things to do today and I don't want to be uncomfortable while I'm out.

After I'm finished getting ready I head downstairs to join my parents. "Goodmorning family," I greet them.
"Ah Eve, just the person I was looking for. I have a few things that I need to go over with for your wedding." Dad state with a serious expression written across his face.
This can't be good.
"What about the wedding?"
"Well as you know your fiancé isn't around at the moment and you planning your wedding alone isn't exactly easy. So I've talked it over with Mr. Russo and we have agreed for you to hire a wedding planner."
"A wedding planner? I mean you could've just told me that straight up no need to make it seem ominous."
"Well I'm not sure on how you would react. I mean isn't this the type of thing you ladies would like to plan on your own."
"No not really. Having a wedding planner isn't the worst thing especially since I'm so busy with work and college decisions, it will actually lighten the work I have."
"Oh.. okay I mean that's not what I expected. I will look into it and find you the best wedding planner out there. Now in the mean time please go look for wedding dresses with your mother one of these days."
Mom has been quiet up until now, "Oh yes we are em planning on going next Friday, right dear?"
"Yes I've actually found a couple of boutiques in town that I would like to go to."
"Well enough of this wedding talk, I've got a meeting to go to and a bunch of files that need to be sent to corporate by tomorrow. I most likely won't be home for dinner." dad gets up from the table and gives mom a kiss on the forgead before leaving.
"Ah yes I've actually have to go too. The chauffeur is taking me to the airport, me and my friends are going to Florida for a couple of days for Cindy's birthday," mom says as she gets up to leave.
"Since when were you going on a trip?" There's no way I haven't been informed about this.
"Oh sweetie I must've forgotten to inform you. I've just been so exhausted with everything that has been going on, please forgive me."
"It's okay don't worry about it, I understand."
After an eventful family breakfast, which I haven't had in years might I add, I'm going to Lucas house to pick him up before going to the mall to shop.
______ The whole time we've been at the mall, Luca has been filling me in on what's happening with Vin and also about a guy he's met.
To much surprise Luca isn't fully straight, he's actually bi. Which means he likes both guys and girls.
The guy he's been talking to is this person he has met through his brother. Apparently Vin doesn't know but when he finds out I assume it won't be pretty for the mystery guy.
"I'm telling you Eve, this guy is everything I want in a person. He's sweet, funny, good looking. He gets me in ways even you don't."
"Ouch," I say pretending to be hurt by his words.
"Oh please you know what I mean."
"I'm just playing. What's his name?"
"That's secret for now. He isn't out yet and that's not my business."
"Ohh I understand. Anyways I'm starving and I want a burger, what about you?" I ask patting my stomach.
"Hmm a burger does sound good right now."
