Mothwing and Leafpool have their two kits a bit after Leafpool has Lionkit, Jaykit, and Hollykit, but Mothwing has the kits. They name their kits Featherkit and Patchkit. Leafpool takes Featherkit to Thunderclan, claiming she found her alone while looking for herbs. Mothwing takes Patchkit, telling the clan that she found him while also searching for herbs. The two kits do know who their parents are and are always happy to see each other at gatherings. At their warrior ceremonies, Featherpaw becomes Featherbreeze and Patchpaw becomes Patchclaw. The whole Ashfur and Hollyleaf situation still happens, but Mothwing and Leafpool's relationship and kits are still not known. Everything after that is the same except for the secret meetings the family have. After Hollyleaf returns, Leafpool and Mothwing's relationship is revealed all by with Featherbreeze and Patchclaw's births. Lionblaze and Hollyleaf are shocked to learn they have other half siblings, but Jayfeather had been suspecting and found out after Leafpool left being a Medicine cat.
