I kissed Adrian and slipped out of bed and went into the bathroom to take a shower and he followed behind me to do the same. We have a busy day ahead of us today, said as I washed my hair. He chuckled as he said, I can only imagine what all you have planned for us to get done today. I rinsed off and hopped out of the shower and as I wrapped myself in a towel I said, oh just wait until you get downstairs I have a whole list ready for you. I giggled as I walked into the bedroom. I dressed in a pair of leggings that had candy canes all over them and a T-shirt that had mistletoe on it and said pucker up and kiss me. I also slipped on a pair of fuzzy socks and then put my hair up in a messy bun and put a red scrunchie over it that had jingle bells on it. I put a little makeup on my eyes and then look in the mirror at myself. Yep I definitely looked like I was in the holiday spirit. Adrian came into the bedroom as I was getting ready to leave he grabbed me around the waste and said,Come here my little elf. He kissed me gently and then let me go. I giggled at him and asked, what was that for ? He smiled at me and said, well I was just doing what your shirt said to do. We both laughed and as I was walking out the door I told him that I would have coffee ready when he came downstairs. When I walked into the kitchen I turned on the Keurig and pulled 2 Christmas coffee cups out of the cabinet and made us both pumpkin spiced coffee. I also put some pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls in the oven and then went into the office and grabbed my notepad and pen from my desk and then headed back into the kitchen. As I was rounding the corner into the kitchen I ran straight into Adrian's chest. I looked up at him and said, sorry I didn't know you had come down already. He just smiled back at me and kissed the tip of my nose and said, oh it's ok I know you were just trying to knock me over. I playfully smacked him on the ass as I walked over to the oven to check on the rolls. As I opened the oven door the smell filled the kitchen. I took out my Christmas potholders and took the rolls out of the oven. I drizzled them with icing and then placed 2 each on the Christmas plates I had taken out of the cabinet. I handed Adrian his plate and coffee and then got mine and with both sat together at the kitchen bar and enjoyed our breakfast while going over the list that I had made yesterday. After we finished eating I put our dishes in the dishwasher and started it, then we went out to the garage to bring in the Christmas decorations that I had been stocking up on. I was so excited to be finally decorating my own home for Christmas. We decided to put the tree up first. I had purchased an 8 foot balsam fur artificial tree and after putting it together it was absolutely beautiful. It was pre-lit so that made it a little easier to decorate. We put red and blue garland on it and then hung different kinds of ornaments that I had bought from the various stores around town. Then last but, not least we hung candy canes of all different flavors and colors everywhere on the tree. We stepped back to look at our handiwork and it looked perfect. We decorated the mantle with fake snow and then put a village on it that lit up, complete with trees and little people. Next we decorated the staircase with a lighted garland. Lastly we hung mistletoe in the foyer leading into the living room. We paused under it and Adrian wrapped me in his arms and deeply kissed me. I felt so safe in his arms. I think it's time for a break and some lunch, what do you think, he asked me while still holding me in his arms. I agree, I said smiling up at him. We decided that we would order pizza and wings and then spend the rest of the day watching movies.
