Taylor adjusted her marching band uniform. "How do I look?" She asked Brianna. Brianna scanned her uniform and straightened her jacket. "There." She smiled. Taylor nodded as Mr. Harris walked over to them as they were getting ready to hear the results. "How do you guys feel?" He asked nervously rubbing his hands.

"We killed it out there. If we don't place top 2 then it's fixed." Kaleb replied. Taylor tuned out of the conversation trying to look back and scan the bleachers full of attendees for any sign of Genevieve. "If we get anything lower than a 3 it's the color guards fault." Kaleb said. Brianna shot him a death glare. "Fuck you we hit our marks!"

"Taylor back me up here, they were off tonight weren't they?" Kaleb asked. Taylor snapped back into focus and glanced to him and Brianna in a tense exchange. "You're drum major if anything it makes it your fault." Taylor replied and looked off. "Told you." Brianna smirked. Kaleb rolled his eyes, "She's only siding with you because she's your girlfriend." He argued. "Or maybe it's because you're an idiot." Brianna replied. "Enough you two." Mr. Harris scolded and watched as the judges approached before everyone.

Everyone tensely waited as they listed off the 5th and 4th divisions. Then came the 3rd. Then came the second. They all looked at each other in disbelief as the 1st was called. "No way!" Brianna shouted as they all cheered and celebrated their win.

Everyone was scattered picking up their things. Family members were greeting their kids. Taylor looked around the crowds of people and smiled in relief upon seeing Genevieve appear on the field. "Congrats champ." Genevieve smiled as Taylor wrapped her in a tight embrace. "You actually showed?" Taylor smiled as they separated for a brief moment. "My dad gave me a ride after I told him I promised I'd be here to support some friends." Genevieve replied.

"Is he here?" Taylor asked. "He's probably napping in the car or something." Genevieve shrugged as they both laughed. "I'm glad you showed. It means a lot. "Taylor smiled. "Hey it's Princess!" Kaleb shouted as he and Brianna and a few of their band members ran over and greeted her. Taylor grew annoyed at the disruption and stood by as they surrounded her. "You showed up to see us win?" Kaleb asked.

"I had to see what the hype for band was about." Genevieve joked. "Then while you're here Princess, can you tell this jackass that color guard was on their game tonight." Brianna replied. "You guys did great, I really love your outfits." Genevieve smiled. Brianna wrapped her arm around Genevieve's shoulder and lightly pinched her cheek as she looked over at Taylor, "I get why you love this one so much." Brianna teased. Taylor rolled her eyes and looked off. "We have to pack our stuff guys." Taylor said shifting her attention toward the rest of the band gathering their equipment. "Give us a sec Princess." Brianna said as she and the other band members walked off.

Kaleb stayed back and put his arm around Genevieve's shoulders. "So Princess, since I have you here..." he said as he walked with her. She skeptically raised an eyebrow and waited for him to speak. "What do you say to going out with me this weekend?" He asked. Genevieve slowly moved his arm off of her and gave a polite smile, "Sorry Kaleb. Not interested." Genevieve replied. Kaleb's smug expression slowly faded, "Wait what?" He asked.

"You seem cool and all but I'm just not interested. Sorry." Genevieve replied as she left to go catch up with Taylor and the rest of their group. Kaleb stood back in disbelief. "Fine. I see how it is." He mumbled.

Kaleb and Priscilla were wrapped up in a heated make out session in the auditorium storage closet. The sound of a bell interrupted them. Priscilla shoved him off and quickly recollected herself. "I can't believe you have me skipping class like this again." She said in annoyance as she fixed her clothes. "I don't see you complaining." Kaleb smirked.

"You're a pig." Priscilla scoffed. Kaleb pulled her in, "Come on P you know you love me." He smirked. Priscilla rolled her eyes as he pecked her lips. They exited the storage closet and walked out toward the stage. "You need to go I have theater club soon and I don't want to have to explain your presence right now." She said.

"Don't worry I'm going. But I had to talk to you about something." Kaleb said as Priscilla peaked interest. "What?" She asked. "You know that freshman you've been mentoring?" He asked. "Genevieve?" She questioned. "Yeah her." He replied. "What about her." She shrugged.

Kaleb sighed and put on a disappointed face, "She's been hanging around our crew lately. She even came onto me. I told her I was working on getting back together with you and she told me she didn't care, that she wanted me." Kaleb lied. Priscilla glared, "What?"

"I know babe. I don't like telling you this but you deserve to know. You just can't trust someone like that." Kaleb shrugged. "I'll deal with her. Don't worry." Priscilla replied. "I know you will babe." Kaleb smiled and pecked her lips before walking off and making his way out of the auditorium with a smirk.
