Evan's pov)
"Please, please... I-I promise, boss. I didn't betray your trust," Gary begged, his voice trembling with fear, his eyes wide with desperation. But I knew I couldn't show mercy. If I did, it would be a sign of weakness, and others would think they could cross me too. I needed to make an example of him, a warning to those who would consider betraying me in the future.
"And you really think that I believe a word that comes out of your filthy mouth?" I sneered, my voice cold and detached. I pressed the knife deeper into his leg, feeling the resistance of his bone, and Gary let out a blood-curdling yelp. His face contorted in agony, but I showed no signs of relenting.
"You think I am going to just let you go and pretend that nothing has happened?" I asked, my voice dripping with disdain. It was a rhetorical question, and Gary wisely remained silent, knowing that any response would only worsen his situation.
After a dragged out pause he whispered again, "Boss, please..." His voice was barely audible, but no amount of groveling would get me to be moved."Shut up, Gary," I growled low and menacingly. "You betrayed me, and now you must face the consequences. But first, I need some answers." I paused, my eyes narrowing as I gazed at him. "So, are you going to be a good boy and tell me what I want to know, or do I need to resort to some rather extreme measures?" I asked, my tone dripping with malice.
Gary's eyes widened in terror as he begged, "I don't know anything, please spare me!" But I just chuckled, a cold, mirthless sound. "Oh, don't play dumb, Gary. I know you told them something, and I want to know exactly what it is!" I leaned closer, my voice dropping to a whisper "Now, make fast and tell me, I have more important places to be"
Gary's pleas became more desperate as he whimpered, "Please don't... Please don't do this..." But I just smiled, a cruel smile that sent shivers down his spine. I knew I had him right where I wanted him, but despite what I said I did not have much time and I needed answers as soon as possible.
"You're starting to irritate me, Gary," I said, growing annoyed by the repetitiveness of his pleas. "I'm going to need you to give me names and tell me exactly what you told each of them." But Gary persisted in his denial, "I didn't talk to anyone!"
My patience wore thin, and I warned him, "You might want to hurry up a bit." But he continued to plead, "Please, I swear!" His words fell on deaf ears, and I decided to take a more drastic measure. With a swift motion, I made an excessively long slit on his right leg.
Gary's scream was inhumane, a blood-curdling wail that echoed through the room. He begged for mercy, but I was unfazed. Mercy was a concept foreign to me, a weakness I had long abandoned. "As much as I enjoy this, I'm going to need names, Gary," I said, my eyes boring into his soul. "Don't make me ask again."
Gary's resolve crumbled, and he stammered, "O-ok, fine... but you have to let me go after." I smirked, a cold, calculating smile. "Well, sure," I lied, knowing full well that his fate was already sealed.
"Bradley Davidson," Gary choked out, his voice barely audible. I raised an eyebrow, unsatisfied. "What about em Gary?" I pressed, my tone menacing.
Gary's eyes darted wildly, searching for an escape. "You asked for a name, I gave you a name. Now let me go," he pleaded.
"Grant, bring me a blow torch," I called out, my voice cold and detached. Once it arrived, I switched it on and placed the flame near the slit on Gary's leg, just enough to heat the skin but not enough to cause significant harm.
Gary's eyes widened in terror as he begged, "Please stop! I'll tell you!" I switched off the blow torch and placed it on the table a few feet away from Gary's chair, the table was set with surrated knives, screwdrivers along with multiple other torture tools that I use to get Information from spies. I never imagined one of my most trusted men would need to be tortured in this room. Now I will need to make sure there isn't anyone else selling information about my plans.
