Chapter 27 : Who's there?

Confusion etched on Jungkook and Yuri's face..they turn to each other..They're at a loss for words , unsure of what just happened...

Meanwhile..
Y/n is curled up on the floor, bruised and bloodied..

The ghostly figure's translucent hands pass through Y/n's body, leaving deep , painful gashes..Y/n tries to crawl away, to cry out for help, but her body is wracked with pain..She can feel her life force ebbing away, her vision growing dimmer by second..

?? : YOU DESERVE DEATH!!!!

The ghostly figure screeched, her voice like nails on a chalkboard..

?? : YOU SNATCHED MY LOVE..HE WAS MINE..HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MINE..BUT YOU RUINED EVERYTHING..BUT THIS TIME I WON'T LET YOU TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME..TODAY IS YOUR LAST DAY..

Y/n's body is marred with deep gashes and bruises, her once pristine clothing now tattered and stained with blood..Only Y/n's screams were hearing..She can hardly move , her limbs heavy and unresponsive..

Taehyung just heard Y/he's agonized screams..His heart races as he dashes towards her voice , fear gripping him..

Taehyung's face is a mask of panic as he races through the darkness , his eyes darting from side to side as he searches for y/n..He can hear her faint cries for help..barely audible over the pounding of his own heart..

Taehyung : Y..Y/n..Where..A..are you?

As Taehyung turns a corner , he stumbles over a broken piece of furniture and falls hard..His left leg takes the brunt of the fall, a sharp , splintered wooden shard imposing his thigh..He cries out..pain exploding in his leg..

Gritting his teeth against the pain..taehyung reaches down and snaps the wooden shard off , leaving the jagged remnant embedded in his flesh..He continues on , dragging his injured leg behind him and leaving a trail of blood in his wake..He has to find Y/n..

Taehyung finally spots Y/n's motionless form on the floor , that this ghostly figure hunched over her..taehyung somehow drags him closer..

Taehyung: GET AWAY FROM HER!!

Y/n weakly looked at taehyung..

Y/n : T..Tae..r..run a..away..s..she w..will k..kill y..you..

Y/n's weak voice reaches taehyung's ears..

Taehyung: N..No..Y/n I..I can't leave you alone..

?? : Goodbye Fiona..

The ghost whispers , it's voice like as it levitate a heavy metal candelabra above y/n's bruised motionless body..

Taehyung's eyes widen in horror..

Without thinking twice, taehyung throws himself over y/n's body..sheiding her from the falling object..

Taehyung wrapped Y/n's body tightly in his embrace ready to engulf his death..but just as the candelabra is about to crush him , a sudden burst of supernatural energy erupts , causing the candelabra to fall to the side..taehyung lies above y/n, trying to figure  what just happened..

The ghostly figure dissipates into nothingness as the supernatural energy overwhelms it...The room falls slient,  the only sound being taehyung's ragged breathing. He slowly lifts his head, looking down at Y/n's eyes..

Y/n's weak gaze meets taehyung's,  a small smile playing on her lips..

Taehyung: Y..Y/n..I..t..thought-

Y/n gently places a finger on taehyung's lips..

Y/n : Sshh..

Y/n winced,  her body wracked with pain , she clutches at her chest , her face comforting..
