Part 3

He met up with Alpha Choi the next afternoon.

"Alpha, I will accompany Mina. If she makes a match with Alpha Jeon, then I will return, and Luna Choi can assist with the wedding and mating. Is that acceptable?"

"That will work, Taehyung, I must however ask you to give it at least three months, for them to get to know each other and make a decision."

Taehyung accepted the terms and arrangements were made. Mina was too excited, driving everyone up the walls.

A week later, Taehyung and Mina set off for Blue Crystal pack, being driven there by Cha Eunwoo, and assisted by Park Minjae.

Mina never stopped babbling, the whole trip.

Even Tae's patience was tested and that is saying something.

"Tae, we need to present me in the best possible light, oh, to be Luna of such a huge pack..."

"Mina, wait and see first if there is even a connection, don't stare yourself blind into the prestige. Mating is forever."

"Oh, come on Tae, he is young, he is the Alpha, what is there not to love. So what of it is not a true love match, I don't need love if I can be Luna."

Tae was a little shocked at her attitude, but hoped she will see the truth of the situation soon.

Finally, after a loooong week they pulled up to the pack house of the Blue Crystal pack. Ok, maybe not pack house, but rather massive pack mansion... Mina stood with her mouth open, and Tae had to remind her of etiquette in a subtle manor.

They looked up and a gorgeous, classy, older woman came walking towards them. The sun shone of her black hair, and she smiled wide.

"Welcome to Blue Crystal pack, I am Luna Jeon Soo-hee." Mina introduced herself and Tae also himself.

They were shown to their rooms and quickly freshened up.

Meeting in the marble floored hallway, Tae looked at Mina, making sure she looked perfect in a knee length yellow sundress and low-heeled shoes, her auburn hair flowing over her shoulders, the picture of youth and elegance.

Taehyung himself had on a pair of khaki cargo pants and a white cotton shirt, with comfortable shoes. His silver hair contrasted beautifully with his blue eyes. The small earrings giving just enough bling to not be overpowering.

They walked down to the lounge, meeting with Luna Jeon again.

"Don't you two look lovely!" she greeted them with a smile.

While having tea, the Luna asked many questions to Mina, who told her about herself, painting herself in the best possible way. Taehyung was also involved in the conversation to a lesser degree, being talked over by Mina every now and then.

They moved outside to large outdoor seating area, the table filled with snacks and different wines and juices.

As the sun set, voices could be heard inside the mansion.

"Ah, Jungkook and the others are here, finally."

Mina fiddled with her fingers, nervous at meeting her possible future husband. She stood tall and proud, she knew she was beautiful and carried herself with grace, she was confident. And with Taehyung with her, she knew she could handle this.

6 young men came out of the wide-open doors, chatting and laughing. Seeing his mother with the guests, Jungkook walked over, kissing his mother's cheek. He then looked towards the two guests.

Mina was in awe; how handsome can one man be! Black hair and eyes, piercings, muscles, so many muscles, tattoos and oh heavens, those muscled legs. She felt a slight bump on her back, realising she has been staring and Taehyung brought her back to reality.

"Good evening, Alpha Jeon, I am Choi Mina, Omega from the Crescent Moon pack." Her confident voice spoke clearly, no wobbling or insecurity visible.

"Hi Mina, I am Jungkook." He took her hand and gave a small kiss on the top. Then his eyes moved to Taehyung, who greeted friendly. "Hello Alpha, I am Kim Taehyung, Mina's chaperone if you will." A soft smile played on his lips as the others introduced themselves as well. Kim Namjoon, 31, Alpha. Kim Seokjin, 32, Beta, and Namjoon's mate. Min Yoongi, 28, Beta, Park Jimin, 26, Delta, Yoongi's mate and Jung Hoseok, Hobi, 28, single, for now.

The group sat and chatted, Mina holding her own in the conversation for most parts. Later, as the discussion turned to politics, she was out of her depths, but being young, Tae was confident she still could learn. So, she sat and listened to Taehyung and the others conversing, debating, discussing. She did however try to interrupt every now and then when Tae was speaking, which made the conversation a little awkward at points.

To say the Blue Crystal wolves were impressed with Taehyung would be an understatement. They have never experienced an Omega that is so knowledgeable, even Luna Jeon had to bow in defeat at the extensive knowledge Taehyung had.

"Taehyung, how is it that you know so much?" Namjoon could not help but ask after being proved wrong for the third time.

"I am just a curious wolf, Namjoon hyung."

"Oh no, Tae, you are not getting away with that answer" Mina chimed in. "Taehyung is the head of the Omega Etiquette School in our district. As you probably know, the school is very popular and sought after by Omegas everywhere. Tae is a forever student, of life and knowledge. After an incident, he decided to dedicate his life to teaching Omegas, that is why I am near perfect." Tae blushed a bit, he didn't like to be put on the spot like this. "Mina, please...don't..." he whispered softly.

"Tae, stop hiding how amazing you are, you are one of the greatest gifts to civilisation. It is time you own it." She sat back with a smirk, arms crossed, staring at Tae.

"Well said, Mina, it seems Taehyung is good at hiding his own attributes but never hesitates to hi-light someone else's. I have noticed the whole afternoon; he just can't help himself when it comes to singing your praises. Definitely a proud teacher and friend." Luna Jeon said with a smile, causing Mina to frown a little.

Tae blushed furiously, he only wanted the Luna to know what an amazing person Mina is, to see how lucky her son would be to have her as his mate.

Mina hugged him tightly. "That is why he is my favourite person in the whole world."

Everyone laughed at the blushing Omega.

They went in for dinner later, Tae making sure Mina sat next to Alpha Jungkook, they needed more conversation.

He sat next to Jimin, opposite the other two, with Yoongi on Jimin's other side. Conversation flowed easily and everyone enjoyed the dinner.

After dinner, they retired to their rooms, Jungkook walking Mina to her door. Just goodnight, it was too early for even a cheek kiss.

Tae joined her and they discussed the Alpha and the day. Mina was definitely interested, but Tae warned her to go slow and give time. You can't get to know a person in one afternoon. She however have made up her mind, she wants this Alpha and be Luna of this pack.

He went to his own room after, showering and laying on his bed, thinking about the day. He had to admit, Alpha Jeon Jungkook was beyond handsome and hot. For the first time since Tae was 20 and rejected Jihoon, he felt something stir in his soul. But he also knew it was the worst thing that could happen. Mina and Jungkook needed to match, he was just a chaperone, just the support to help Mina get the best match possible. And he knew, Alpha Jeon Jungkook was a catch and will be good towards Mina.

But deep inside he wished he could also have had someone. He knows he is also telling Mina he is not 30 yet, but he knows, his time has run out. He would be alone. Well, so be it. He had his school, that was enough.
