Billie POV
"eccoci di nuovo. quando imparerai Billie?" Dad sighed watching me as I watched Anika through the windowThere you go again. When will you learn Billie?
"Non sto nemmeno facendo niente, papà." I looked away
I'm not even doing anything dad.
"ti ho detto che non va bene, donna americana. Quando parlerai con Alessia? è una bellissima donna italiana che potrebbe essere tua moglie." Dad ranted
I told you american woman no good. When you going to talk to Alessia? she's beautiful Italian woman that can be your wife
"Non sto cercando moglie in questo momento, papà." I sighed annoyed
I'm not looking for a wife right now dad.
"Capisco che desideri una bella ragazza nera, capisco. la loro testa è fantastica, ma qui, Billie, restiamo italiani." He told me
I get you want beautiful black girl, I get it. their head is amazing—but we stay Italian over here Billie.
"Non mi piacciono le ragazze italiane." I mumbled under my breath
I don't like Italian girls.
"I've got to go back to Italy for a week. lascia in pace quella ragazza, Billie." Dad told me
Leave that girl alone Billie.
"Whatever." I mumbled before sitting on my couch
Hours later my house was filled with members and girls, I sat alone on the back porch reading an article out of the New York Times. The news paper is where you get the real news, that CNN bullshit is just propaganda.
"Cookie?" I heard a small voice beside me
I looked to the left of me and almost jumped out of my skin
There was a black little baby with a pacifier in her mouth. She was wearing pajamas and a bonnet—aw she's adorable.
"Where's your mamma little baby?" I picked her up
"I want cookie." Her lip quivered
"Sorry baby, I don't have any cookies." I responded
"Cookie." She repeated
"Aw you're so cute." I smiled
"Jupiter!" I heard a masculine voice yell
"Bubba!" The baby cheered
"Jupiter, that's your name... That's different and unique." I said
I began walking towards the direction of the voice spooking a tall brown skinned boy with afro dreads
"Ay nigga, put my little sister down." He pulled his pants up
"Chill, I no take the baby she run over to my back porch. Here." I handed her over to him
"Wah." She cried while reaching for me
"No juju, you don't talk to strangers." The boy scolded her
"You should watch her more. This is a dangerous world." I told him
"Nigga I know. I just took my eyes off of her for one second, she in her terrible two's." He bounced her up and down in his arms
"Sadé, momma on her way she said you better find Juju—nevermind. He found her momma." A shorter light skinned boy momentarily stepped outside
Wait, that's Anika's son. How am I just now realizing that I'm in front of her house? I guess it looks different from the back, I've never seen the back of her house or mines.
"Well, thanks for returning my little sister man. I appreciate it for real." He shook my hand
"No problem." I responded
"Come on Juju, it's time for bed." Sadé walked into the house with Jupiter
Upon reaching my doorstep I saw my dad standing at the door frame shaking his head.
"Don't have any babies with her Billie. I want my grandkids to have rights." He said before walking off
Author: not gone lie "I want my grandkids to have rights" is CRAZY. Gino lowk my favorite cus bro dgaf fr😭
"Fucking weirdo." I mumbled as I walked into the house
