Ashton's P.O.V

I sat in my car and took a deep breath. I hit the steering wheel and screamed. I had all this built up emotion inside of me and I felt bad for going off on Michael. It's not their fault I feel so bitter and alone sometimes. I cranked up the car and listened to the engine roar then I turned up my music all the way up. The screams and the emotions in the hardcore music put me at ease. A trip around town usually helped me clear my head. Everything that filled it was chaotic. The streets were filled with happy couples and random people with stories untold. I pulled up at the park.

I found this tree and I sat under it. I pulled out an old notebook filled with my drawings and lyrics and started to listen to Paramore. It gave me peace in this park full of screaming kids and couples on their first dates. I saw a little girl about 3 or 4 walking near the pathway where I was.

Ella sat there and started playing with her toys. She got bored easily. Candy was going on and on about how her record label was going. Apparently for the music industry it's tough business. It was hard focusing on both my best friend and daughter.

"There's a cute guy.. Um no he's wearing crocs. Okay... Well there's a cute guy! Wait no he's too-." Candy kept trying to find decent guys in the park. "Candy we should be watching my kid not watching guys in the park." I said. "Well I think Ella would approve. Wouldn't you Ella?," Candy looked and Ella wasn't there. I was on my phone texting my sister. "Mariah where's Ella?" I threw down everything I had on the table and bench and tried to look for her. Me and Candy both frantically ran trying to find her before it was too late. We were almost out of breath when I saw her sitting next to someone at tree. I saw her having a tea party with some guy. She had him in a princess tiara and had him holding a plastic teacup I would be lying if I didn't think that was adorable.

Ashton's P.O.V:

The little girl came and sat with me. She told me she needed someone to play with. Me being me I allowed her to dress me up and have a tea party. About that time I saw two women walk my way. One of them was Candy Moore, the most successful woman in town due to her record label. With her was one of the most gorgeous women I ever saw. She had long brown hair, brown eyes and was dressed in a loose blouse with jeans and converse. She looked to be in her early 20s.

The little girl, Ella jumped up. "Momma!!! Meet my new friend!" she went and wrapped herself around the brunettes leg. "Ella how many times do I have to tell you not to run off from me sweetheart?" "I'm sorry." "Oh gosh I'm so sorry she ran off and came over here and bothered you!!," she was speaking to me. "Oh it's no problem I love children." This girl had something about her you couldn't help but like. "I'm Mariah by the way." She smiled and i couldn't help but feel happier. "I'm Ashton in case you wondered."

Mariah's P.O.V:

"I'm Ashton in case you wondered," he said. I could sense Candy hitting my arm because for once I was actually talking to a guy. He had dimples, hazel eyes, and this mess of hair and to top off his charming looks he had an Australian accent. "Well I'm just glad we found Ella." Leave it to me to ruin a good moment. "Will I see you again?" He asked. "Maybe. Maybe not. Depends." Maybe fate was trying to tell me something. Maybe I was meant to meet Ashton. And I sure would hope to see him again. And with that us girls left and decided we needed some Starbucks. And out of all people waiting in line it was the guy from the park, Ashton.
