The morning sun filtered through the high canopy of the elven city, casting soft rays onto the group as they prepared to set out again. After the night of revelations and celebrations, there was a quiet sense of camaraderie among them, strengthened by shared secrets and laughter. However, there was one member of the group who had remained somewhat of an enigma-Liora Estelaris.

As they made their way through the winding paths of the ancient forest, Liora walked slightly apart from the others, her mind swirling with thoughts of the past. The weight of her lineage had been a constant burden, one she had hidden for so long. But after hearing Lysandra, Dorian, and Vera share their true identities, she knew it was time. She had to tell her story.

The path before them opened up into a vast clearing, where they decided to rest and regroup. The air was thick with the smell of pine and blooming flowers, and a cool breeze rustled through the leaves. It was peaceful-too peaceful for what Liora was about to reveal.

Liora sat down on a large, moss-covered stone, her usual poise faltering slightly as she took a deep breath. She hadn't planned on sharing her past, but something about the trust they had built over their journey together made her feel that now was the time. She watched as her companions chatted and laughed, but her mind was far away, back in a place she hadn't thought of in a long time.

Kael noticed her distant expression first. He walked over, his face soft with concern. "Liora, is something bothering you?"

The others grew quiet, sensing a shift in the air. Liora looked up, her sapphire eyes clouded with a mix of hesitation and resolve. She gave Kael a small, almost sad smile. "I haven't been entirely truthful with you all," she began, her voice steady but tinged with a hint of sorrow. "You know my name, but not the weight it carries."

Kael knelt beside her, offering a reassuring nod. "We're all friends here. Whatever it is, we'll listen."

The rest of the group gathered around, curiosity in their eyes. Orren leaned against a tree, ever the jester but unusually silent, as if sensing the gravity of what Liora was about to say. Lysandra and Dorian exchanged a glance but remained attentive, and even Krisan, usually stoic, seemed focused on Liora's every word.

Liora's hand rested on the hilt of her blade, the cold steel grounding her as she began her story. "My full name is Liora Estelaris. I am the heiress to the Estelaris Dynasty, one of the wealthiest and most powerful empires in the southern regions. Our fortune spans generations, built on trade, diplomacy, and... darker things."

At the mention of "darker things," the group leaned in, intrigued. Dorian, who had been studying her more closely over the last few days, couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy. He knew what it was like to carry the weight of a powerful family name.

Liora continued, her voice growing steadier with each word. "The Estelaris family has always been at the center of power. My father, Lord Estelaris, controls vast territories, and our influence stretches across continents. On the surface, we are known as merchants and diplomats, patrons of the arts and education. But beneath that façade lies a history of shadows-a history I was born into."

She paused, her eyes meeting each of theirs. "Our family's wealth is not just from trade. For centuries, we've brokered deals with dark forces, ancient magic that goes beyond the realm of the natural world. Cursed artifacts, forbidden spells, even blood pacts. My ancestors were ruthless in their pursuit of power, and my father is no different."

A chill seemed to sweep through the clearing, the once gentle breeze now feeling heavier with the weight of her words. Kael's eyes widened. "You're saying your family-your father-deals in dark magic?"

Liora nodded solemnly. "He's always maintained that it's necessary to preserve our legacy. He believes that power must be seized, even at great cost. But I... I never agreed with him. As a child, I watched as he made deals with shadowy figures, men and women who radiated a sinister energy. I saw the artifacts he brought back to our estate, each more dangerous than the last. But the worst of it..." Her voice faltered, and she looked away, the pain of old memories flickering across her face.
