Y/N's POV

"Ugh, I should be mad at him!" I muttered to myself, bursting into my dormitory. The door slammed behind me with a loud bang, and I tossed my bag to the floor in frustration. The events of the day swirled in my mind, but Harry's face lingered the most.

"That little—urgh!" I grabbed a pillow off my bed, pressing it hard against my face before letting out a scream into it. My muffled yell didn't seem to take away the knot tightening in my chest. Dropping the pillow, I collapsed onto my bed, arms flung out beside me, staring up at the ceiling. What was I even feeling?

One moment, I'm on top of the world—like I'm the luckiest girl in Hogwarts. And the next... it's like I'm the biggest fool in the universe. All because of him. Harry.

Was Ron telling the truth about Harry liking me? Or was it just some twisted joke? It felt like my heart was trying to play tug-of-war with my logic. Harry had been talking to Cho today, laughing with her, smiling that soft smile of his that sent butterflies through my stomach. Yet... the second I thought they were just friends, something twisted inside of me.

It felt like I was being used as a distraction. Maybe he was just trying to move on from Cho, and I was his convenient excuse. I mean, look at her—Cho.
Her perfect, soft skin. That silky black hair that always looks flawless. The way she carries herself with so much grace, like a Ravenclaw queen.

A wave of jealousy surged through me, and I grabbed the pillow again, feeling the urge to scream. I wanted to be angry, to throw it all out, but... why was I feeling this way? It's not like Harry and I were anything more than friends. Right?

"You two seem close..." I muttered aloud, echoing my earlier words to Harry when I caught him with Cho. "Really, Y/N? You had to say that?" I threw the pillow back onto the bed, flopping down next to it. My mind was a mess. I tried to push the thoughts away, but they kept creeping back, refusing to leave me alone.

"She's just... looking for a friend." I sighed, though a small voice inside me nagged, reminding me that Cho might be looking for something more than just a friend. I hated that thought.

Shaking my head, I tried to clear my mind, letting my eyes slowly close, exhaustion from the day taking over.

A gentle knock at my door pulled me out of a hazy sleep. I blinked groggily, pushing myself upright. "Y/N? Are you there?" A soft, dreamy voice floated through the door—Luna.

"Mm... come in, Luna," I called out, rubbing my eyes as the door creaked open.

Luna entered, carrying a small plate of food. "I brought you something to eat," she said in her usual airy tone, her expression as calm as ever. "You've been asleep for hours. I knocked earlier, but I could hear you snoring from the hallway."

I sat up straighter, suddenly aware of how empty my stomach felt. "Oh, Luna... you didn't have to." I smiled weakly as she handed me the plate—a generous helping of mashed potatoes, chicken breast, and steamed veggies. And, of course, a small bowl of pudding. Luna's favorite.

"It's no trouble at all." She returned my smile as she sat on the edge of my bed, watching me with her wide, thoughtful eyes. There was something about Luna that always made you feel at ease, even when the world felt upside down. "I saw you leave the Great Hall earlier," she added. "Your face was red. Are you feeling alright? Did wrackspurts invade your head?"

I couldn't help but let out a small laugh despite myself. Luna and her wrackspurts. She scooted closer, trying to get a better look at me as if examining for invisible creatures.
