11 BACKING OFF

RAAZ'S POV

No it can't be true. For god's sake, why those eyes are affecting me so much. Also we have been friends for years why now all of a sudden? It's all because of Abhinav. He kept telling me I like her.

Maybe that's why I got swooned over. That's all. But why did I take a break from my work for a week just because Arya is back. Why is she affecting my work too. No it's because I just finished my huge damn project so I'm resting. That's all.

You like her that's the reason. My subconscious mind said. No I don't. I heard from Abhinav that Arya is leaving today. Won't she come to bid me a goodbye? 

Even though I say I don't like her but deep down my eyes want to meet hers for once. At least for once when she's leaving again. My heart is longing for her presence. Should I go to her?

I should do that. I quickly went to take a bath. As soon as I was done I got into my trackpants. Wondering what to wear. Will this T-shirt look good? Or this Shirt? Who wears a shirt just to visit someone at their house.

As I was deciding the doorbell rang. Knowing no one's at home I went there to open the door. Anddd It's her! It's Arya. She's here. The one my eyes were searching my heart was longing is here standing in front over me.

But why is she standing and drooling over me. She never did this before. What is she thinking?

"Are you done?"  She flinched at my question. 

"It's not the first time you are seeing me naked? Or.."  I stopped in between. I will her first let me tease her. 

"Or what?"  She asked. "Never mind"  I said. Ignoring her I took the tiffin from her hand went to the kitchen. Oh it's rabdi. Aunty is so sweet. 

"Tell me naa" Arya yelled. I'm not going to tell her. Today is the last day we are meeting at least I should have some fun. 

I gabbed a spoon and sat on the couch. As soon as I opened the lid my nostrils filled with the aroma of the milk and the almonds. I took a bite and ahh it's so tastyy. As I was enjoying my delicious rabdi. I could sense hot gaze piercing through me. 

She was waiting for me to end. She doesn't like to interrupt when someone is having their food or drinking water. She respects the food.

 Patience took over her and she stood up taking the remaining rabdi and walking towards the kitchen. "What are you doing? Show some respect." I said walking behind her to take my rabdi back.

"Mr Singhania I AM respecting the food but not the person. See how much you ate. Leave some for my beautiful aunty."  I was so indulged that i forgot there's another foodie who love rabdi in our home. 

I washed my hands and took a seat on the couch beside her. "So what were you saying? huh! continue." Arya spoke as she rolled her eyes.

"Miss Kapoor, Don't you think you have seen my body before too? What were you imagining?" 

I asked her teasing. Her cheeks getting red and suddenly she gets quite. Is she fr? Was she really imagining something?

DOORBELL RANG..

I got up to see Abhinav standing. 

"Woah look who is here today" Abhinav spoke as he marged inside. Arya who was quite until now replied in a singing tone "Of course it's me. Hi I'm the solution it's me!"  Both grinned.

After getting ignored I asked her again "So? What's your answer huh?" 

Arya again stopped laughing and got quite. Something's fishy here. "What? What answer?" Abhinav asked getting confused. To which I said "She is getting wild thoughts and she's zoning out"  to tease Arya more. 

Arya was all red by now. Abhinav saw her and passed a giggling look. 

"Oh that! She must be thinking about Arjun. Right Arya?"  Abhinav said.

Arjun? The college senior? Are they dating? Why I don't know? And why does this Abhinav know? What is happening? Why do I feel a sort of discomfort in my heart?

"You are dating Arjun?"  I asked. My voice almost serious. Maybe it's my fault. I should have known my limits. We are just friends. It's okay. Everything will be fine when she leaves. 

"Not yet. I'm meeting him today to give him my answer"  She said. Her voice almost low. She's shy? 

"What is your answer?"  I asked. She tells me everything now. Not more than what she tells to her gang of 2 people  but she tell me the important details. And this shit is important. 

"I'm going to date him" She said confidently. Looks like she is prepared. Her best friends have taught her everything. 

"Ohhh I'm so happy for you... Have fun. Go on dates, fight a lot, Kiss a lot and do it only if you are ready and prepared"  Abhinav said smiling sheepishly. I see Arya getting all blushed up after hearing his advices.

Bitch.. recently he used to tease me with her name. And Now he forgot everything and blessing her like a old man. I'll take a revenge on this. 

Both left for their home. I am here alone now. Why do I feel rejected even before I asked her out? It's okay Raaz it's just starting. Everything will be fine in a day or two.

My poor Raaz got rejected even before he proposed. What will happen to them now? Our main characters are drifted apart.
