Found but Lost

Chapter 6: Vipers

"You fucking idiot." Janis says as she paces around the room, panic shaking through her hands and anger filling her head. "I leave for a fucking week and the Crimson Disciples ambush us and take the girls! Are you stupid?!". She throws a knife at him, purposely missing- just barely.

"Well if you weren't so busy visiting your secret girlfriend you would've been here to-" Dave starts to defend himself after recovering from the shock of the flying knife.

"Shut up!" Janice interrupts him. "My father gave me specific and strict orders! He can't know we lost the girls. We need to fix this before he finds out." 

"How do you plan to do that?" Dave questions, now leaning in from his spot on the worn out couch.

"I don't-" Janis stops in her tracks as a lightbulb went off in her head, "We'll use you for bait- they've been looking all over for us. We'll just have to bring them to us."

"What the hell? Why me?" Dave snaps his head up towards Janis.

"Because you fucking lost them." Janis turns to him with the deadliest glare, warning him and putting him in his position. "And then once we distract them with you, me and my team will secretly ambush their stupid fortress and get the girls back." 

"Fuck. Fine what do I got to do?" Dave asks leaning back against the couch, Janis just smiles towards him with an eager devilish grin.

"I don't trust this Antonio." Theo says to him.

"Me either. He's alone and deep in Viper territory, but this is all we have so far. If we get Dave, we can use him to get to Janis." Antonio responds as he gets up from his office chair and peek through the window at Mira and Claire sunbathing by the pool.

"I don't think we should take everyone to attack him." Theo says.

"Fine. You and Ethan take a team and take the girls out to one of our clubs. I can't risk keeping them in this house, no one will expect us letting them go out." Antonio says.

"That's risky too." Theo says back.

"Just trust me Theodore, as my right- hand man, my second in command, and my best friend." Antonio says with a tilt on his head towards his friend letting a lock of hair fall forward.

"You know I always will. Three more hours." Theo says closing their understood silence.

Noah wants to kill the silence between him and Jasmine to ask a selfish question, but frankly he's a little terrified of her. Every movement Jasmine did was like statement of saying 'Try me' and not in a sexual way. 

And it was as if Jasmine read his thoughts, scaring Noah even more, she says, "What do you wanna ask me."

"What-"

"You've been staring at me since we started this job and honestly it's creeping me out. I'm not into you. I like bigger guys." Jasmine says not breaking concentration from watching the shipments come in smoothly.

Jasmine had taken an interest in guns and bomb shipments which was right up Noah's alley so they're being partnered up, but honestly he wish it were Claire. But she took an interest in surveillance, hacking, and intelligence which was up Theo's alley. Lynn was placed with Thomas to do drug and alcohol deliveries. While Mira wanted to take no part in anything, but at least Luna trained with the rest of the girls.

"Plus I know it's not me who you wanna get with. So spit it out." Jasmine says bringing Noah back to reality.

"Something happened between me and Claire." He starts.
