9. GOOD OLD DAYS!!

Amrita cautiously spoke, "Tum apna girlfriend ka soch rahe ho...." 

Advitya looked at her with a frown.

"Mai bhi apne boyfriend ka sochun.. toh galat nahi hoga!" She finished with a sheepish smile.

Advitya got up annoyed, "Don't say you are on Bhaiyya's side!!!" He exclaimed.

"I am not dumb and blindly in love unlike you!" She scoffed at him. Of course she is on her man's side. Why would ever she not take his side! It was dumb question from Advitya's side. 

Anyways, keeping all the aside, her Agastya is control freak for a reason. If he isn't the way he is right now, they wouldn't have been like this. Without him as an anchor, there wouldn't have been accountability in the house, and without accountability, Advitya and Akshat would have gone bonkers. But like the Bhabhs she is to them, she kept all those thoughts to herself and focused on Advitya being blindly in love.

Advitya felt like laughing. His Bhabhs isn't blindly in love with his Bhaiyya and she wanted him to believe that. Right! "Toh aap kya karti Ms. Genius?!" He asked, sarcasm rolling off his tongue.

Amrita shrugged, "I would try and be fair to both."

Advitya raised a brow, "Are you implying that I put to test and see for myself?"

Amrita got up and patted his back in appreciation with a smile, "Make sure your girl doesn't get a hunch of it! Because my dear bother!!! If she gets an idea..."

He didn't let her finish, "Please don't finish it. I got the plot!!" He bowed down dramatically, "Bless me Bhabhs!"

"Plot your way to success my child!!" Her response was as dramatic as his.

Advitya laughed out, feeling light hearted. He smiled softly at her, "You know what! Aapko meri behen hona chahiye tha!"

She raised a brow, "Will you say that on Agastya's face please?!"

"If my girl proves your man wrong, I might just will!!" 

She threw him a disgusted look, "Business bloody runs in your blood! I hate you all!!" 

He simply kissed her cheek, "Love you Bhabhs! Bye!" He hugged her one last time before he walked away.

Amrita shook her head and moved out to find Akshat. Gautam Brothers are the only entertainment she will ever need in life!

By the time, Advitya finished his test, he is left heartbroken. As soon as he started talking about walking away from Gautam Empire and Gautam Mansion, away from Agastya, she gave herself away. She thought he was in her grip just like she planned him to be. She was too shocked and blabbered making him see through him. He might be a man in love but wasn't that dumb. Nor was he spineless to still hang onto her in a hope to change her or something. 

The woman he had loved, trusted, and defended—she wasn't the person he thought she was. 

He sat down in his car as he broke up with her, his mind racing as flashes of their past conversations and moments played in his head. It all felt tainted now, the warmth replaced by a cold, hollow feeling. He wasn't angry yet; the anger would come later. Right now, all he could feel was a deep sense of disappointment and betrayal. 

Slowly, guilt started seeping in. He didn't trust his bhaiyya for this woman. The man was warning him all along, reminding him at every step... but he was too dumb to listen to him. He called his Bhabhs, hoping that she would ease the weight he is feeling in his chest.
