Ponds pov
The morning sun, a golden ribbon slicing through the curtains, roused Pond from his sleep. He stretched, the crisp white sheets whispering against his skin, and yawned, a low rumble that echoed in the vast, silent bedroom. His mansion, a testament to his family's legacy and his own success, was bathed in the soft glow of the rising sun.He rose from his bed, his movements fluid and confident, and headed towards the expansive windows overlooking the city. Bangkok, a sprawling metropolis of vibrant energy, stretched out before him, a canvas of bustling streets and towering skyscrapers. He inhaled the crisp morning air, the scent of jasmine and distant exhaust fumes a familiar blend.
He glanced at his phone, a sleek black rectangle resting on the bedside table. A name Joong appearing on the screen, his voice crackling through the digital connection, brought a subtle smile to his lips.
"Hey Pond! Doing good? I'm still in New York, but I'm thinking of heading back to Bangkok soon." Joong said , his voice filled with excitement.
"I'm good but the pile of work never changes" Pond replied sarcasticly and sighed
"Well it is almost Christmas and my birthday is approaching in a few months so you better head back or else...""Ok , ok don't worry me and my boyfriend will surely come" Joong replied as he laughed "and Pond by the way I have a friend looking for a job , he just graduated and I think he will be a great asset for your team is the position still available?" Jong turned serious while talking.
"Yeah , it's still available and tell me more about your friend. What's his name? What kind of art does he do?" Pond replied, his voice filled with curiosity.
"His name is Phuwin," Joong replied, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "He's a painter, very talented, and he's got a good eye for design. I think he could be a valuable asset to your team."
Pond considered this for a moment, his gaze fixed on the sprawling cityscape beyond his window. "I'm always looking for fresh perspectives," he said finally. "Send me his portfolio, and we'll set up a meeting to discuss it further."
"Great!" Joong exclaimed, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "I'll let him know right away. He'll be thrilled."
He ended the call, a thoughtful expression on his face. Naravit Corporation, the family empire he now led, was a testament to his parents' hard work and vision. Tay and New, his parents, had built it from the ground up, a thriving conglomerate spanning various industries, from technology and real estate to fashion and hospitality. They had instilled in him a strong work ethic, a passion for innovation, and a deep sense of responsibility.
He knew that his parents, Tay and New, would be proud of the company he was building, the legacy he was carrying on. They had always been supportive, understanding, and encouraging, guiding him with their wisdom and love. He valued their advice, their insights, and their unwavering belief in him.
He descended the grand staircase, his footsteps echoing through the opulent hallway. The mansion, with its high ceilings, intricate carvings, and luxurious furnishings, was a testament to his family's wealth and influence. But it was also a place of warmth and comfort, filled with memories and laughter.
He reached the breakfast room, a sun-drenched haven with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sprawling gardens. His housekeeper, a woman who had been with the family for years, greeted him with a warm smile and a steaming cup of coffee.
"Good morning, Pond," she said, her voice a gentle melody. "Your parents are already working at the office and they told me to inform you."
"Thank you, Khun Noi," Pond replied, taking a sip of his coffee. He savored the rich aroma, the bitter notes a familiar comfort. He knew his parents would be busy, as always, but he would make time to see them later.
