Phuwin's pov
The next morning, I woke up with a pounding headache and a fuzzy memory of the previous night's revelry. The remnants of champagne bubbles lingered on my tongue, a bittersweet reminder of the celebration and the anxieties that had followed.
I stumbled out of bed, the silk sheets clinging to my skin, and made my way to the window. The Bangkok sky was a canvas of vibrant blues and oranges, the city below awakening with a symphony of honking horns and bustling activity.
My phone buzzed, a notification from Joong popping up on the screen. He had sent me Pond's contact information, along with a message that read, "He's looking forward to meeting you, Phuwin. Go get 'em, tiger!"
My heart pounded in my chest, a mixture of excitement and apprehension. This could be a huge opportunity, a chance to break free from the shadow of the Tangsakyuen Group and forge my own path. But the idea of working for a company like Naravit, a behemoth in the world of business that I knew nothing about, was both intimidating and exhilarating.
I spent the rest of the morning trying to organize my thoughts, sifting through the whirlwind of emotions that had been swirling within me. I knew I needed to be prepared, to present myself well, and to show whoever was in charge that I was more than just an art student with a dream. I needed to demonstrate my passion, my creativity, and my ability to contribute to their vision for Naravit.
I decided to spend the day exploring Bangkok, immersing myself in its vibrant energy. I wandered through the bustling streets of Chinatown, marveling at the colorful stalls overflowing with exotic spices and trinkets. I visited the Wat Arun, its towering spire reaching for the sky, a testament to the city's rich history and spiritual heritage. I even stopped by a small art gallery, browsing through the works of local artists, feeling a renewed sense of inspiration.
Later that evening, I met up with Chimon and Gemini for dinner at a trendy rooftop bar. I told them about the interview, my anxieties, and my excitement for the potential opportunity.
"Naravit Corporation? Well as I told you before I heard of them from you're parents and...," Chimon said, taking a sip of his cocktail. "They're known for their innovative designs and their cutting-edge technology. They're actually a pretty big deal in the business world."
"Really?" I asked, surprised. "I had no idea."
"Yeah, they're pretty impressive," Chimon continued. "They've got a great reputation for being forward-thinking and always pushing the boundaries of design. You'd be in good company."
"It's a big company," Gemini added, his eyes twinkling. "You could gain such an experience there."
"I'm a little nervous," I admitted, my voice a little shaky. "I don't know much about the business world, and I'm worried about being out of my depth."
"Don't worry, Phuwin," Chimon said, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "You're a talented artist, a creative thinker, and you've got a good head on your shoulders. You'll do great."
"Yeah, and besides," Gemini added, his voice full of confidence, "you've got us. We'll support you every step of the way."
We spent the rest of the evening talking about our dreams, sharing stories, and reminiscing about our days as students. I felt a surge of gratitude for their friendship, their unwavering support, and their belief in me.
The next day, I met with the CEO of Naravit for the interview. His office was a stark contrast to the vibrant energy of Bangkok. It was a sleek, modern space, dominated by a massive mahogany desk that seemed to radiate power and authority.
I stood before the desk, my heart pounding in my chest. The CEO stood up, a smile playing on his lips.
"Phuwin, right?" he said, extending his hand. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm Pond Naravit."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Naravit," I replied, shaking his hand, my voice a little shaky. There was something about his presence, his aura of power and control, that made my heart race.
"Please, call me Pond," he said, his voice a low rumble. "Now, let's talk about your work."
We talked about my vision for Naravit, my ideas for incorporating art into their projects, and my desire to create a unique aesthetic that would set them apart from the competition. Pond listened intently, his expression unreadable. I could feel his gaze on me, a silent assessment of my abilities.
"You have a lot of potential," he said finally. "But you need to be prepared for the demands of the corporate world. It's a fast-paced, competitive environment, and you need to be able to think on your feet, adapt to change, and deliver results."
"I'm ready for the challenge," I said, my voice firm. I knew that I had a lot to learn, but I was determined to prove myself.
"I'll let you know my decision in a few days," Pond said, his voice devoid of any emotion.
I left his office feeling both excited and apprehensive. I had never felt so drawn to someone, so captivated by their presence. This man was everything I had imagined a successful businessman to be – confident, intelligent, and undeniably powerful.
I couldn't stop thinking about him, his piercing gaze, his authoritative voice, and the way he made me feel both nervous and exhilarated.
I shared my experience with my friends, describing the CEO in detail, my voice filled with a mixture of admiration and awe.
"He's a bit cold," Chimon said, his voice laced with amusement. "But he's definitely a handsome devil."
"He's a bit intimidating," Gemini added, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "But I think you've got a chance with him, Phuwin."
I blushed, my heart pounding in my chest. I couldn't believe I was even considering the possibility of a relationship with this man. But there was something about him that drew me in, something that made me want to know him better.
The next few days were a blur of anticipation. I waited anxiously for Pond's call, my phone glued to my hand, hoping for a sign that I had been chosen.
Finally, the call came. My heart skipped a beat as I saw an unknown number on the screen.
"Phuwin," a deep, familiar voice said. "This is Pond. I've decided to offer you the position."
I couldn't believe it. I had been chosen. I was going to work for Pond, for Naravit Corporation.
"Thank you, Pond," I said, my voice filled with gratitude. "I'm so excited to start."
"Good," he said, his voice devoid of any emotion. "We have a lot of work to do."
I hung up the phone, my heart overflowing with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. I knew that this was a huge opportunity, to explore new to things, to meet new people, to gain new knowledge , and to be close to Pond- I really want to know more about him. But the work would be a challenge, a test of my abilities, and a journey into a world that I knew nothing about.
That evening, I received a message from my mother Mix. He had summoned me to the family mansion. I knew that this was unusual, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease.
I arrived at the mansion, a sprawling estate that was a testament to my family's wealth and influence. I was greeted by my parents, their faces etched with a mixture of concern and anticipation.
"Phuwin," Earth said, his voice deep and measured. "We've heard about your new job."
"Yes, Dad," I replied, my voice a little shaky. "I'm going to work for Naravit Corporation."
"Naravit Corporation," Mix said, her voice laced with concern. "We know some things about this company, actually there one of our allies , choosing them is a good start. What do you know about them?"
"I'm still learning," I admitted. "But I'm excited about the opportunity, and I believe I can contribute something valuable to their team."
"Phuwin," Earth said, his voice firm. "We're happy seing you being happy like this , but we want you to be careful. Naravit is a powerful company, and we want to make sure you're safe."
"I understand, Dad," I replied. "I'll be careful."
"We're proud of you, Phuwin," Mix said, her voice softening. "We'll always support you, no matter what you choose to do."
