Landon had explained to Liam why he was sad, and it was because Liam was ignoring him ever since lunch. "Wow.. I'm sorry. I never knew I mattered so much to you.." Liam said, a shocked tone in his voice. Landon looked at him, huffing. He wiped his eyes. "Well, you do. Now, why were you even ignoring me in the first place?" Landon asked. The shorter males eyes widened at that question. His face immediately got red, like when Caleb got bitch-slapped. "I- It's not important." He stammered out. "No, tell me. It's important to me. 💅" Landon argued back, a lot of sass and zest in his voice.   "I.. Promise it won't change our friendship?" Liam said quietly. "Yeah..?" Landon replied. "I can't believe I'm doing this, but.. I like you." Liam said shyly. "I'm sorry, it's stupid—" He was cut off by Landon pressing his lips against his. Liam's eyes widened, while Landon's were closed. Eventually he leaned into the kiss, until they were met with the sound of keys jingling, and Mrs. Maxwells voice boomed through the bathroom. "Anyone in here!?" She yelled. Landon pulled away from Liam, but their lips were still suspiciously close. They were hidden in one of the stalls, both not breathing in fear of being caught. Once they heard Mrs. Maxwell grumble something like, "Guess not." And the sound of her walking away, they knew they were safe. "We're probably late now, huh?" Landon whispered, being met with a shaky, "Definitely. Skip?" Liam asked, this being his first time skipping, for a good reason at least. "Good idea." Landon replied.
