The next morning Rhea slowly blinks awake as the sun comes shining through Olivia's windows. She takes a moment to adjust to being awake, still feeling a pleasant fuzziness in her mind from the night before. She glances over at Olivia, who's sleeping peacefully besides her. She can't help but smile at the sight, still somewhat amazed at the human. She slowly and gently wraps and arm around her, pulling her a little closer to her.
Olivia slowly opened her eyes and realized they were still on her couch. She smiles when she realizes Rhea is awake. She notices that Olivia is awake, and a smile appears on her own lips as well as the human realizes they're still on her couch. She laughs to herself, loving how cute Olivia looks with her sleepy eyes. "Good morning gorgeous" she says in her low, lazy morning voice, letting her hand idly run up and down Olivia's arm.
Olivia smiles and rasps out a "good morning darling." causing Rhea to laugh at her morning voice "Sounds like someone isn't fully awake yet, huh?" She rolls onto her side and smirks looking down at Olivia. She laughs and sits up from the couch and stretches. Rhea watches her and her eyes roam over Olivia's body as she was still in the same bikini from the night before. "Mmh, you look good like this, gorgeous"
Olivia smiled again and said, "You don't look too bad either." Rhea returns the smile, her eyes still roaming over Olivia as she responds with a cheeky reply, "Oh? And why thank you, Gorgeous. Such sweet words from such a lovely woman like yourself." She sits up on the couch as well, a small smirk still on her lips.
"Are you hungry?" She asks Rhea and stands up from the couch, she looks over at Olivia as she stands up, and the human's question about food finally registered in her mind. She stops for a moment to think, and she realizes that she is actually pretty hungry "Hmm, now that you mentioned it, I am getting a little hungry. Why do you ask?" "I can make us breakfast." She says and starts to walk over to the kitchen.
She watches as Olivia moves over to her kitchen, a tiny smile appearing on her lips at the human's offer to make breakfast. "Oh?" She gets up from the couch as well, walking after Olivia. "And what exactly are you going to make for us?" Olivia kisses Rhea on the lips and says, "You will find out." she smirks
Rhea is caught off guard slightly by the kiss, but she immediately kisses back, a low chuckle escaping her lips once they break apart. "Mm, teasing me with a surprise, huh? Can't tell me what you're going to make for breakfast." "Nope" Rhea chuckles again, shaking her head at Olivia's response. She knows the human is purposely withholding the information just to tease her, and despite her annoyance, she can't help but find it endearing. "Of course you can't. Why did I expect anything less from you, gorgeous?"
Rhea watches Olivia as she works in the kitchen, admiring how confident and competent she seems. It's surprisingly attractive seeing the human moving around the kitchen, cooking up breakfast. Rhea leans against the countertop staying out of her way as she cooks, but still watching her closely, her eyes trailing over her every movement.
The smell of blood suddenly registers in Rhea's nostrils, its metallic scent hitting her senses abruptly. Her vampire instincts kick in, and her eyes go wide at the scent. She quickly looks around trying to figure out where the scent is coming from before her gaze quickly settles on Olivia, realizing the source of the blood is coming from her. She had cut her finger while trying to cut the meat.
Rhea's keen vampire sense immediately pinpoints the source of the blood to Olivia, seeing the cut on her finger from where she slipped while cutting the meat. Without a second thought, she steps closer, gently grabbing her injured hand and pulling it closer for a better look. The strong scent of Olivia's blood and the sight of it dripping from her open wound is like a switch in Rhea's head. Her eyes are fully red now and, her vampire instincts taking over, her fangs lowering in response to the tempting sight and smell of the human's blood. She finds it suddenly harder to keep restraint, her lips parted as her breathing becomes faster.
"R..Rhea?" Olivia asks, noticing how faster her breathing became, Rhea could hear her speak, but is too lost to focus on her words, her entire attention on the bleeding cut on her finger. The smell is intoxicating to her sharp senses, and she feels the intense urge to taste it, to drink from her. Her breathing is shaky, her hand gently holding Olivia's injured one, fingers almost twitching with her struggle to keep control. Rhea gives in and loses control, biting her wrist.
The taste of Olivia's blood hits Rhea's tongue and she can't stop herself anymore. Her fangs sink into the skin biting into her flesh and drawing blood. She moans softly, a wave of pleasure rushing through her at the taste. It's like nothing she's ever tasted before. It's almost addicting.
Olivia screams in pain and horror as she feels Rhea bite her, the sound of Olivia's cry snaps Rhea back to her senses for a moment, making her realize what she was doing. She quickly pulls back from Olivia's wrist breaking away and looking down at the freshly made bite mark in horror. She looks up to see Olivia still in pain, and she is immediately overcome with guilt and regrets. She'd fed off a human, she'd broken her own personal rule, and it was someone she actually had feelings for.
Olivia looks at her in horror "What... what are you?" she cries, Rhea could see the fear and confusion in her eyes and hear the tremble in her voice as she asks the question, "what are you?" Rhea knows this was the moment to be honest and try to explain everything, she sighs before taking a deep breath before speaking, "I'm a vampire..." She says slowly, still looking at her with concern "I.. I didn't mean to bite you, I lost control for a moment, and-" she was cut off "Get out" she says holding her wrist.
Rhea's heart sinks as she hears those words, and she could feel the anger and fear in her voice as she says get out. Her eyes go wide, her mouth opening as if to protest, but before she could say anything, Olivia cuts her off with another command.
She stands there, frozen for a moment, her mind trying to process what's happening. She had tried to feed on the human she was developing feelings for, had broken her own rule, and now that human was telling her to leave. She feels utterly defeated, broken.
"Just please get out." Olivia says, her mind whirling with thoughts, her heart was racing, her mind still trying to come up with anything to say to fix this. But as she says to just please get out, Rhea knows deep down it's hopeless.
She finally lets out a shaky breath, her eyes downcast. She nods her head slowly, accepting that there's no way to change Olivia's mind. "Okay. I'll go." Olivia nods her head still holding her wrist, she can see her still holding her wrist, the wound bleeding. She wants so badly to say something, to comfort her, but she knows she can't. It's too late. She's done what she's done, and no number of apologies will fix it. All she can do is make good on Olivia's demand to leave. She looks at Olivia one last time, her heart aching. She takes a step back, her eyes still on the bleeding wound, before she finally turns and slowly starts to walk towards the front door.
Once Rhea leaves Olivia screams in fear and she decides to throw things trying to comprehend what just happened. Rhea could hear her screams and the sound of things being thrown as she reached and left, each sound stabbing through her like a knife. It pains her to know that she's the cause of the human's fear and confusion. That she's the reason for this reaction. She stands outside the front door for a moment, fighting the urge to return, to go in and comfort Olivia. But she knows she can't. Instead, she lets out a low sigh and begins to walk away from the house.
