IT HAD TAKEN A LOT OF CONVINCING on Briggs' part, but finally, Cassie Hobbes' grandmother had agreed to let her live in Washington DC with the Naturals rather than at home with her.

Her father technically had custody of her, but because he was deployed overseas, she had been living with her paternal grandmother, other chaotic family members as well. Though her grandmother was not initially thrilled about the idea of her seventeen year old granddaughter moving across the country, she eventually came around.

Like nearly every member of the program's family, her grandmother was not fully aware of the extent of the program. She simply thought it was a program for 'gifted' kids, and while that was partially true, she had no idea that it was affiliated with the FBI, just like Vienna's mother and brother Ronan have no clue as to what the girl actually does when she isn't home for Christmas or Thanksgiving.

The Naturals were getting their newest and last member, at least for the foreseeable future, later that afternoon.

Vienna was helping Sloane clean up her room, as the girl would be sharing with Cassie upon her arrival.

Sloane was moving her clothes to her designated corner of the closet, as she would now have to share.

"I'm nervous." She mumbled. "Do I snore? I don't think I snore, but what if I do?"

Before Vienna could try to reason with her, Sloane began spewing off statistics on snoring.

"About 25% of adults snore regularly, 50% snore sometimes. But I'm not an adult, though the numbers  for teenage girls snoring is only about 10-12% on occasion, and only 7-9% snore on the regular. But I could be in that percentage-"

"Sloane, calm down. I've roomed with you a couple of times, and you don't snore. And even if you do, Cassie will get used to it." Vienna reassured her. "We'll get her some earplugs just in case..." she adds teasingly.

Sloane gives her a look. "You're not helping, Vi."

"Sorry, Sloane." Vienna mumbled.

"You aren't sorry." Lia walks into the room, flopping down onto Vienna's bed.

Ah yes, the downside of living with a human lie detector.

"Lia, do you know when Cassie's gonna get here?" Vienna asks, folding a pair of Sloane's jeans and packing them into one of the drawers.
