I led Chase into the house and I was immediately met by my parents. "Delilah how was school!" they said in sync. Chase laughed, "maybe I should come another time." I blushed and shook my head, "no it's fine. Just give us a minute to talk. Wait here!" I instructed. I walked into the kitchen with my parents and answered their question. "School was just great." I said calmly. My mom smiled, "I can see that. Now who's the boy?" she motioned with her ribbon to Chase. "That's my friend Chase. Please don't embarrass me." I didn't wait for my parents to reply and just walked back to Chase. "Come on. I'll show you my room." I led Chase upstairs and I sat in a bean bag while he looked around. "You've got a pretty cool room for a girl." he smirked. I glared at him, "what's that supposed to mean?" He laughed, "it means it isn't decorated with girly things like flowers and dolls." I shrugged, "I'm not that kind of girl really. That's more my mom." as if on cue my mom poked her head into my room. "I'm not that girly!" she said looking offended. I laughed as my mom padded up to me. "I didn't mean it like that mom and you know that." My mom gave me a playful look, "I know you didn't because you know what happens when you offend your mom." My mom reached her ribbons up and pinned me on the ground. Chase was looking at us as if he was confused, "Excuse me miss but what are you going to do to her?" My mom laughed and put her ribbons in the curves of my arms and on my sides. "Oh just the one thing she hates most." My mom smiled evilly down at my and started tracing her ribbons. I was already giggling. "Delilah guess what. Your old friend the ribbon monster's come to play." My mom started tickling madly and I was laughing at the top of my lungs. "Nohahaha mohahaham stoooooop!" I yell through the laughing. My mom did stop but then she leaned down to my belly. Chase was watching the whole thing and was practically laughing himself. "Now watch closely Chase. If she ever gets on your nerves this will make her do anything you want." I widened my eyes as my mom put her lips on my belly. "Noooooooo!" I gave a last cry before my mom blew a huge raspberry into my stomach. I laughed louder than I ever thought I could and Chase was laughing at it too. My mom finally stopped and got off of me, "that was fun. Nice meeting you Chase." my mom walked back to the stairs and disappeared down them. I was breathing heavily still trying to catch my breathe. Chase walked over and helped me up. "Your moms funny." he said amused. I glared at him, "that was not funny!" he laughed, "well at least I know how to get what I want from you now." he poked my belly and I jumped away. I glared at him and walked up to hug him, "thanks for hanging out with me today." Chase hugged back only a little too tight. "Don't mention it. We should do it again some time." He looked out the window and noticed it was night. "I have to go..." I cut him off with a paw in the face, "I know." I walked over to the window and opened it listening to the gangs muffled voices outside. Chase walked over too and climbed into the windows ledge. Before he climbed down he turned back and before I could protest he touched noses with me. "I don't care if you don't feel the same. Just know if you need me I'll always be out during the night." with that he disappeared into the dark and I closed the window. I was so busy listening to him I hadn't noticed I was blushing. I shook myself and climbed into bed. "Do I have feelings for him?" I thought to myself. I closed my eyes and before I knew it I was asleep.
