Place:Galf shop
Jard heaved his foot into the shops door.It was about 11pm when they got there, though it should've been much earlier if he didn't need to get the rebels off his back.
"Let me guess you failed?"
There, at the cash register, Jard found himself looking at his dear friend Galf. His shop was almost always open no matter what. Jard didn't know how he pulled it off, but he really didn't care anymore.Jard shook his head, and it swayed heavily.
Galf sighed, placing his red hat on the table."Maybe next time, how about you two get some rest it's late anyway."
Jard looked at the card Lillith had given him and through it at the ground, not thinking twice about it. "STUPID LILLITH AND HER TRICKS!"his mind was filled with frustration stomping on the small business card. Galf watched as Jard let out his anger but said nothing.
Jard stared at the crumbled card and threw it in the trashcan nearby.
Bobo dashed past Jard and immediately floped on a coach that wasn't too far.Curling into a ball before saying goodnight.
Jard wanted to let out a smile, but he was too exhausted at this point. His feet led its way toward another couch near Bobo, and he fell down. The darkness engulfed him as reality faded away
......................................................"dOn'1 +rust hIm....."
"N£vr €ver |et him t@ke C●nTr▪︎l....."
Jard looked around, confusion written all over his face. All he could make out was that he was somewhere dark.
"B€w@re one who is n●± what h€ s€Ems....."
The voice unsettled Jard as he tried to find where it came from, but to no avail.
Jard tried to call out, but nothing came out of his mouth as if it was screw shut. After what felt like centuries, he finally saw something through the dark.
There was a shadow of a deformed creature. It sat motionless at least 10 yards away.It let out a soft white glow.As it slithered across from where they sat. There was no detail on it. Just a plain black figure with white glowing eyes staring at Jard."What do you mean?"Jard somehow managed to choke out.It felt painful just saying a simple word.
"..."
Jard felt his eyes quivering he looked down, avoiding eye contact with the shadow.
He was standing in a pool of blood. Jard eyes grew wide.He was still rooted to the ground. He wouldn't move his body wasn't listening.
Wails of screams of agony filled with sorrow filled the dark air.
Jard wasn't in a dark void anymore he was now standing in an unfamiliar area.
The figure was gone.
Lifeless bodies surrounded Jard
he stood there helpless like a pathetic bird in a cage.Droplets of blood poured in a rhythm onto Jard black jacket he couldn't even move his neck to see where it was coming from.
Jard felt something against his feet he looked down petrified at what he saw.Galf laid motionless on the ground his head had been decapitated.A pool of blood surrounded the body.
His mind screamed. Jard closed his eyes, not wanting to witness the unbearable sight of his dear friend body laying cold on the ground.
Not even a second later, a huge wave of blood swallowed him whole.
Being pushed to the bottom of the huge wave.Jard tried to scream, but a huge amount of blood filled his lungs. The metallic taste filled his mouth."No, this can't be the end!"
Jard tried swimming against the strong current he didn't even know where he was going. Everything was nothing but a blur of red and limbs from other people.
Through everything, Jard could hear the same voice from the shadowy figure whisper in his ear.
"K!l\ hłm be€f0re įt'$ t●0 l@te..."
......................................................Jard jolted awake.Fear was still pumping through his veins. His eyes adjusted to the soft lighting.
Galf was standing near the coach his red clothing looked as if it was glowing beneath the rays of sun that passed through the window.
"Are you ok, Jard? You've been squirming in your dreams for a while. I woke you up to check if you're all right."
Galf voice soothed Jard. His heart rate slowed down though the ominous word clinged onto his head.Relief flooded through knowing that Galf was ok.Bobo was still snoring as loud as ever nearby.
"I'm alright. I uh just need to go outside."Jard pointed at the door before sprinting outside the store.
Galf stood there for a bit before walking over to Bobo.
The fresh air pierced on Jards skin he was outside now, deciding to find a more secluded area away from the store.
He found a tree that hid behind the store."Perfect."
Jard slumped down by the tree, his dream or nightmare still haunting him.
"Never let him take control...
beware one who is not what he seems...
AGH!"
Bobo came crashing down onto Jard, stopping him from his transe."JARD JARD JARD!"Bobo jumped happily right next to Jard before sitting down.He had a playful smile and cheerful eyes that stared back at Jards gloomy eyes.
Jard rolled his eyes. "IT hasn't even been ten minutes since I was gone!"He couldn't help think.
He looked at the child, who looked as if he just ate an entire box of candy.
Jard had the idea of telling Bobo about the dream.
But pushed the idea away, finding that it was to grim for a child like him."What is it?"
"Galf said we don't need to go collect anything today!"He immediately stood up, jumping in glee.
"Great!"Jard said slightly sarcastically.
Bobo turned around, looking Jard dead right in the eye.
"Great? This is amazing! The entire day to do whatever we want!"
Bobo putted his hands on his hip as he looked around as if he was expecting to see something."An entire day of what we want."it echoed in Jards mind.
1006 words yay :D
