"Oh, this place."Bobo murmured to himself.

Jard slowly walked out of the safety of the trees that once covered him.

The large gray temple loomed over the trees so tall as if it tried to touch the sky.
Jard touched its smooth cold stone, moving his fingers across the poor, worn-out structure.

Jard felt a sensation of peace during that small moment of time.

"Are you done with your main character moment?"Bobo interrupted behind him, startling Jard.

Jard turned around to see Bobo was still near the group of trees.
He wore a huge smile on his face now.

Bobo skipped across the grass, sliding to a halt when he got close to the old neglected temple.

"Oooooh."Bobo looked up and down at the towering structure with amazement.

"Bobo, you've been here for like a hundred times already. How are you still interested in this place?"Jard asked with slight annoyance.

Jard knew Bobo was staring at him, but he just made his way up the temple. He didn't really care at this point he just wanted to grab the artifact and never come back.

Bobo was reluctant to go with Jard but finally made up his mind when Jard was already at the top of the temple.

The view wasn't anything special, not much but a bunch of trees and old gray buildings on a cloudy day.
Jard felt a cool breeze that ran across his face.

"Jard, where are the nextbots?"
Bobo looked up at him with curiosity shining in his eye.

Jard scanned the area, expecting  a bunch of people and nextbots to be running around, but it was empty. He listened, trying to find some typ of noise, but it was almost dead silent, no nextbots soundtrack, no screaming, just the light rain falling and the shrubs slowly waving in the wind.

Jard felt something was off.
He knows that nextbots normally spawn almost every time, but there seemed to be absolutely nothing in the ruin.

"Bobo, are you triggering anything?"Jard asked concern in his voice.

"..."

Jard looked behind him. Bobo wasn't there.
Jard heart sunk.
Panick shot through Jard, and his eyes flashed with fear.

"No no no no NO!"

Jard looked frantically around him, only to find Bobo all the way back down the temple poking a grasshopper.

"BOBO!"Jard screamed at the child, making him jump, giving time for the little bug to escape.

Bobo shot a glance at Jard to be met with an angry face staring down at him.
"WHY ON EARTH DID YOU HAVE TO SCARE ME LIKE THAT!"Jard voice was sturn.

Bobo was about to snap back but then thought twice about it.

Jard hostile stare slowly turned into more empathetic gaze.
"Bobo, please don't do that next time."

Bobo nodded his head and shuffled his feet in the dirt.

Jard walked down the large number of stairs to finally catch up to Bobo.

"Bobo, did you even hear me?"

Bobo shook his head while staring at the ground.

"I said did you trigger anything that could have caused there to be no nextbots?"

The child shook his head again.
Jard left out a long sigh.
"Let's just get back to Galf before dark. It's getting late anyways.Don't want to be waiting here all night in the cold.

Jard walked back to the trees while Bobo followed in silence.

Jard kind of wished they were there longer, though there was nothing there, so now he had to walk back empty-handed.

"Can't believe we made that journey for nothing!"Jard muttered.

All of a sudden, he came to a halt.

"WACTH IT"
Jard heard a female voice scream, which was followed by a lot of gunshots.
Jard quickly held Bobo's wrist and pulled him under a couple of shrubs.

Bobo still held a smile even in the shrubs as they stayed low, waiting for whoever to pass by.
Jard then heard footsteps starting to get nearer. Then it came to a halt. After that, he heard a zipper being unzipped.
"What on Earth,"Jard thought with uneasiness.
After a long time in silence
Jard intrusive thoughts finally kicked in as he tried opening a hole in the bush to see Bobo tryed stopping him but was to no avail.

There stood a tall lady wearing almost all purple with short brown hair with a purple top hat rummaging through a magician looking bag.
She then held up an orange thing. It glowed with strong colors, making Jard almost cover his eyes.

As his eyes adjusted to the light, Jard then finally realized she was holding an artifact.

Jard mind quickly switched over  to finding a way to take the artifact from her.Bobo immediately read his mind and gave him a warning look not to.

"She’s so close, though, Bobo! Only like 4 or 5 feet away from us besides there's two of us and one of her we could easily take it!"Jard said in a whisper so the lady couldn't hear them.

"Jard, don't be stupid. You know that we can't possibly -"
But before Bobo could finish his sentence, Jard stood up from their hiding spot and approached the tall lady.

Bobo got up to stop him, but again, it was too late.

Jard slowly crept up to the unnamed lady, but luck wasn't on his side stepping on a leaf it admitted a loud crunch.

The lady immediately whipped her head around to see both of them still as stone.
