Game Over

Rain woke up to prepare breakfast.
Leaving Phayu on the bed.

When Phayu came down from the room.
He is done cooking.

Phayu sits on his chair.
All his food for breakfast is prepared.
Then a cup of coffee lands on the side.

"Rain let's eat nam" Phayu said.

"I already eat while cooking na. P'. I gotta go prepare." He said and smiled.
But run to the stairs.

Phayu just realized.
This is the set up for almost or already a month now.

He sighed
He cleaned after eating..
Then he went to the master's room to brush his teeth.
While Rain went down and get some bread and spread for snacks for two people. He packed it.
The time Phayu holds his things.
They both went to the car

Silence
But Rain is on his phone.

"Rain." Phayu said.

"Hold on p." Rain said and answered the call.

"On our way na." Rain said
"Yeah. Sig have it get it from him." He still talking to the person on the phone.
"Okay"
"You're welcome" Rain then ends the call.

Rain is busy typing.

Phayu wanted to talk but he dared not anymore.

The car stops.

Rain looked up.
He unbuckled his seat belt.

"Bye na p' see you when I see you " Rain said quickly and walked out of the car. Quick steps walking away.

Phayu stucker in the car.
"See you when I see you" he mouthed.

Knock on his window.

He looked outside.
He got out of the car and locked it.

"We need to talk." Dino said.

Phayu nod his head

"Rain's friends said he was sad but quiet about this past few weeks
As the days go by he gets more sad.
That's what his friends take him sometimes to the mall
Or accompany him in the library.
And last night
They had battled in the arcade and lost tract time.

I went to check on them and they were enjoying it so I let them finish their fill.

And Rak said last night when we left your house:
'hope p' Phayu won't scold Rain. Or his whole day will be ruined. It's the first time we saw Rain laugh that hard again. He smiles emptily. And laugh loud and shallow. We can't see happiness in him. Only today he is happy again.'."

Phayu silently takes it in himself.
Everything Rain told him last night and what Dino said.
He is glad. These friends did not take Rain in the pub and make him drink alcohol.
Of it was their friends. Rain could be wasted last night.

Phayu took his phone and typed on the group chat.
"Can we skip activity today I have something to do."

Then have second thoughts typed again.
"You can continue if you want to but I won't go."

Then keep his phone.

He tried to focus on their classes the whole morning.
Lunch break came and he went to look for Rain.

Rain sits alone.
Looking at nothing.
He sees loneliness.

He quickly moved.
But Rain's friends. Came.
Bringing food and drinks.
He watches them. As they share their food.
And he noticed everyone wants to make Rain smile.

"You can make that smile deep and genuine. Come" Dino said.

Phayu followed Dino's phase

"Guys mind if we join in?" Dino asked.
