When Armen was a kid, he had never thought he would be here.
He slinked under some bushes, the golden lanterns lighting up the building like faded stars. His sky-blue eyes darted through the leaves, zooming in with razor-sharp vision, then closed.
Just like that, he was infiltrating an enemy outpost.
For real.
He scanned the building with interest. It was made of a substance he guessed to be a sort of quartz, three stories high, with lush grass and plants surrounding it in a carpet of green. Warm lights glowed from within, bright enough to light up the inside and balconies of the structure, but dim enough to not be able to push the dark out of the garden, and therefore cloak Armen.
His mission, in thought, was simple;
Inform Carmen Twilight and Sky Ender, daughters of two of the Four, of his next task,
Infiltrate Starlight Hall, and sap the mainframe of what info is not in lockdown, and
Destroy Starlight Hall, and officially scare the inhabitants.
P.s. Feel free to be flashy ;)
Armen liked flashy as much as the next saboteur, but step number two would be tricky. He had to get in, sneak past guards, guests, and Admins alike, infiltrate the mainframe computer, steal information, hopefully without raising an alarm, sneak into an escapable position, and (FINALLY!) light the lights.
As for his grand exit, Armen decided to wing it....or paw it....oh, whatever. People from LunarSun City scare easy (he would know), so that shouldn't be hard.
As for the first ta-
"And THEN, Desirae was all like,'Oh no you didn't!'"
"No I wasn't!"
Well, that simplifies things.
Carmen Twilight was talking with Sky Ender, a girl slightly smaller than her. Both were wearing hoodies of darker shades, but Sky was wearing a black skirt with red plaid designs on it and tall boots with ties all the way up, whereas Carmen stuck to casual jean shorts and slip-on shoes. Both had curly hair, Carmen's light sienna and Sky's dyed-cyan-blue, and golden eyes that seemed to shimmer on their own terms. While Sky seemed hyper and a bit loud, Carmen seemed reserved and a bit shy. Behind them was a tall, straight-brunette-haired girl, golden-eyed as well, in a longer blue skirt and silky shirt with elbow-length sleeves. She seemed a level more calm than Sky, but nowhere near the solemness of Twilight. Armen assumed she was Desirae Heavens, since she was the one who was arguing with Sky about her apparent 'snap-back' at someone as they walked out of one of the large glass doors that lead to the large first-floor ballroom.
"Well, I think that I'd remember if I did that!"
"You do, you just-"
Carmen suddenly spoke up. "That's enough, you two! We're here for something other than arguments. He should be around here somewhere...".
"Oh my gosh a kitty!"
"What?"
Sky had gotten to Armen and picked him up, snuggling him like a teddy bear.
Armen groaned. Sometimes he wished his little white form wasn't so cute. But it was stealthy.
"Umm could you not?"
Sky dropped him like he was red hot. He landed on his black paws and turned to the three. " I know I'm fluffy and all that but..."
Desirae looked interested. "You can talk?"
