002. BED CHEM

⤷  Holding his hand tightly, Juna let Rob lead her to the seats close to the entrance. Her hands were soft in his as he pulled her down towards the seats. A branch hit Rob's face, eliciting a small giggle from her as she moved closer to him. She crossed her legs and rested her perfectly manicured hand on her thigh. Rob's eyes scanned her face. Obviously he had been close to her during the icebreaker challenge but his nerves were getting the best of him. He hadn't noticed the beauty mark on her cheek or the golden specks in her big chocolate brown eyes.

Rob loved her eyes. He loved how soft they looked at him, he loved how round they were when they were on him. He loved how she only ever really looked at him in a room full of other people. Juna lifted her brow and tilted her head. "What?" She said coyly as Rob placed an arm behind her. "Is there something on my face?"

He shook his head, smiling at her. "Im just trying to think of what to say right now, it's like my brain has turned off." Juna laughed, bumping into her shoulder with his. Rob could smell the caramel and vanilla perfume wafting off her. Even her hair smelt good, like freshly baked cookies. He felt strange, sitting there in silence and letting her perfumes take over his senses. "What are your passions?" He asked abruptly.

Admittedly, Juna was taken aback. "My passions?" She repeated, prompting a nod from him. "Hmm, art." She answered curtly, staring off into the distance. "I really love art, it's pretty all I do. I particularly love sculptures, I helped curate an art exhibition recently that focused primarily on Greco-Roman inspired sculptures and it was beautiful." She rambled, fiddling with her golden bracelets and bangles. The sounds of them clinking together drew Rob's attention them, and also the large pendant resting on her chest. In his opinion, Juna looked like the sun-embodied. From the baby yellow, satin dress she wore that hug all her curves perfectly, to the way her dark brown hair flowed down her back, Rob was entranced. Golden jewellery and white heels, Rob thought she looked like a warm Sunday afternoon.

Rob hadn't even realised he had zoned out in her rambling staring at her until she nudged him. "Sorry, was I talking too much?" She said quietly. He shook his head. "I'm interested in other things too! But what about you, reptile Rob?"

"Reptile Rob is crazy," He laughed, crossing his arms over his chest.

She sighed lightly, rubbing her arms. Rob quickly reached for his jacket passing it over to her. She shook her head, but he insisted wrapping it around her. "Sorry, it just got chilly so fast." She smiles. "I feel like you should have like some thick, country accent. Like in the movies."

"I should. When I'm back in Alabama, it gets pretty thick." Juna nodded her head in response. If she listened hard enough, she could hear that slight southern twang she had a soft spot for. She adored southern accents. They were the cutest, and to have a southern gentleman by her side? She loved it. "I feel like that's the same for you. When you and Aaron were talking, I wasn't sure what country I was in."
