|| BLAZING EYES ⚜
Moonlight peeked through the curtains, illuminating the magnificent face of the alpha. His eyebrows were knit together in annoyance as he tried to recreate the colorless drawing from his dream. His pencil scratched against the paper, the sound echoing through the silent library.
He had been working on it for hours, but something was missing. The sketch seemed to lack the essence of the wolf that haunted his dreams.
The soft curtains flowed delicately, bringing the cold night breeze into the empty library. The wind carried the scent of damp earth and leaves, a familiar smell that reminded Taehyung of his pack's territory.
Taehyung breathed out and removed the disturbing strands of hair from his eyes. His hair was a mess, tangled from hours of focus on his sketch.
The library was getting cold as the wind blew through the open windows, but Taehyung didn't care, as a trueblood, he didn't feel cold easily. The wind caressing his skin made him feel ticklish. He shivered slightly, enjoying the cold sensation on his skin.
He sighed and glanced outside the window, his eyes widening with unknown emotions. The moon was crescent, ethereal, and beautiful, casting its glow everywhere. He shook his head, trying to get rid of the useless thoughts and focus on his sketch.
The sketch was beautiful and aesthetic, with no color except for the red, blazing eyes with a mix of orange and yellowish hue. Taehyung held the sketch in front of his face, tilting his head to the left to examine it. Then, he placed it on the glass table and leaned back into the chair, his eyes never leaving the sketch.
No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't bring the sketch to life. Sketching was his hobby, and he usually found contentment in shading nature scenery, animals, and random things. However, for the past few days, he had been struggling to sketch a wolf from his dreams. The wolf's eyes seemed to haunt him, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was missing.
He glanced at the clock on the wall, realizing it was past midnight. He knew he should sleep, but his mind was nowhere near ready for a peaceful sleep. His thoughts were a jumble of confusion and frustration, and he didn't know what to do.
Ever since his 18th birthday, he had been having strange dreams about himself and a wolf with red, glowing eyes and snow-white fur. The dreams were recurring, and he felt an unknown attachment to the wolf.
He wondered if it could be his mate, as their eyes shared a similar shape, though his were blue and the wolf's were red - same yet different from the world. But again, it was just a dream, and not every dream comes to reality.
Taehyung let out a deep sigh and rubbed his temples. He seriously don't know why his life is filled with so many pieces of different puzzles. Why can't he just have a simple and a peaceful life? A life where he have a freedom of all, A life where he can enjoy it and cherish it without any responsibility heaved in his shoulders.
