Chapter 2

Walking in the halls in the front Grace leads the group, close behind her Norm and Jake are inventively listening to what Grace is telling them, while Y/N is accompanied with Margarette who's a botanist.

"Hey, ate you also have an avatar, right?"

Margarette lips beams into a blinding smile, her hands move behind her as she skips on ahead of you.

"Yup, you want to see my avatar, right? Come on then, let's get you in your avatar so we can have some fun today"

You pick up the pace, catching up to where Grace and the others are, you finally see the doors of the link room.

The steel white room is bustling with scientist scurrying to one place to another, getting everything ready for the drivers.

Grace power walks toward the pods, as she asks you three questions on how much you all have logged.

"So, how much link time have you logged?"

Norm answers first as he's the closest one to Grace.

"About 520 hours"

"that's good"

Grave seems pleased with his answer, lifting up her left hand to point to a pod as she continues to walk to in front of Jake.

"You're in there"

Grace walks to the panel of a pod with Jake following close behind.

"You're here, how much have you logged?"

Jake observes the pod closely being intrigued with how the pod looks, as he answers Grace with a not so pleasing response.

"Zip, but I read a manual"

"Tell me you're joking"

Grace looks back at him in disbelief and a bit of frustration with how inexperienced Jake actually was, she still hoped that he was joking but he seems to not be joking.

Tuning them out as Jake is once again ruffling Grace's feathers, you look back to Margarette who is now getting ready to get in her pod, as well as Norm who is by now laying down to get linked in and Jake's being told off by Grace to lay his head down as she closes the lid of the pod, finally Jake initiate's link after a long while and Grace now put her attention on you.

"Now, how about you, how much have you logged? And there's your pod next to Jake"

"About 510, a little less than Norm because of my other lessons"

"Good still"

Going towards the pod Grace pointed at, you get ready to link, you lay down on the jelly-like bed, another person helps you get connected and then close the lid for you. In the pod you close your eyes and let your mind go blank to initiate link.

When you open your eyes the first thing you are the blurry version s of the two doctors, one of those doctors flashes a light in your eyes to check your pupillary reflex and the other snaps her fingers near your catlike ears to check for your Pinna response.

"How you feeling, Y/N"

You sit up to do the other motor skill exercises, they had you touch all your fingers with your thumb as fast as you can as well as wiggling your toes.
