Caroline and I stood up from the bushes and ran towards my pool because with my luck, we would have managed to fall into a bees nest as well as the dumb prickly bushes.
I could hear the laughter coming from the three stooges as Caroline and I screamed and made our dramatic jump into the pool. The bees seemed to have not cared about us enough to fly around the pool so I was relieved that I didn't have to use my mad spy skills to escape from the pool.
"I hate your brothers," Caroline muttered.
"This is what I have to go through on a daily basis. Welcome to Rory's life!" I said as we walked out of the pool. We were soaked, had leaves sticking into our skin, and scrapes from falling off of the roof. How attractive.
"When I get into the house, take all of the leaves out of my skin, clean all of my scrapes, jump into the shower, and then get dressed, you are all dead!" I yelled out in one breath. "Oh, and also Ben is on my side this time!" I added. As I said before, Ben is always with me, but my brothers always take him and I lose.

After taking all of the leaves out of my skin (not before taking a photo with Caroline first), cleaning all of my scrapes, jumping in the shower, and getting dressed, I grab my war ideas book and read with Caroline to try and figure out how to challenge my brothers.
Surfing? No, I've used that too many times (and I always win). Insert smirk here.
Push ups? No, not in the mood to workout.
"Water balloon fight!" Caroline and I say at the same time.
We run down the hall and bang on Will's door before going outside and filling up the water balloons. We only have a few done when Will, Charlie, and Liam walk outside and stand in front of us.
"Isn't ding dong ditch a little too young for you and Caroline to be playing?" Will says.
"No, as a matter of fact, many people my age still play. Anyways, I have a challenge for you. A water balloon fight. If Caroline, Ben, and I win, then you three have to do whatever we tell you to do. If we lose, then we have to do anything you ask us to do," I say.
"I've taught you well, little one," Will says, still thinking over the idea. The three of them exchange glances before Liam says, "We're in, if we get Ben".
"Hell no! I knew you weren't good at math, but I didn't know you were this stupid! You, Charlie, and Will make three. Ben, Caroline, and I make three. Three plus three equals six. When you divide six by two, it makes two even-"
"Okay Rory, I'd rather not be thinking about math right now," Charlie says with a confused expression on his face.
"So, challenge accepted?" Caroline asks.
"You three are so on," Liam smirks.
Will quickly moves to get a water balloon, but I stop him. "Hey! we can't start until I have my other team mate!" I yell. It must be a sibling thing because all three of us, Liam, Will, and I, yell Ben's name and a few seconds later he comes scrambling out of the house.
"What!" he screams.
"Water balloon fight, you're on my team," I tell him.
"Can't I at least be on a team that has a chance of winning?" My little brother groans.
Charlie chuckles at that and I roll my eyes at him.
"Yeah, that's why you're on our team," Caroline says.
"Okay, can we start already?" Liam asks.
As soon as he says that, I pick up a water balloon and chuck it at him, soaking his shirt.
"You're out!" Caroline and I yell. The objective of the game is to hit everyone on the other team because once you're wet, you are out.
I just barely miss a water balloon thrown at me by Charlie as I roll away.
"Too good for you!" I yell as I run away with two balloons in my hands. I run around the side of my house and crouch behind a crowd of bushes. Thankfully without any thorns in them. I crouch lower as I see Ben run past me screaming with Charlie hot on his tail. Charlie throws his balloon and then soaks Ben.
"Gotcha bud," Charlie says as he smiles at Ben.
'Awww, how cute of him not to destroy my weedle brudder!' I think. 'Ew, Rory. That's Charlie you're talking about'.
Ben and Charlie round the corner of my house and that's when I step out of the bushes and run back into my backyard. I see Caroline crouched beside the pool with Will running up behind her, but I am too late to warn her before Will tackles her into the pool with Caroline screaming.
'Isn't young love beautiful?' I smile, but it quickly fades when I hear some one walking up behind me.
"Well, well, well. It's just the two of us left, Rory," Charlie says. I slowly run around and see he has four water balloons, two in each hand.
'Crap, Rory! You can't lose to this gorgeous hunk! Don't let his gorgeousness distract you!' I think. What the hell, Rory! This is Weird and gross Charlie you are talking about!
I zone back in from my internal conversation with myself and look Charlie in the eyes. He has a mischievous glimmer in his eyes and it's making me want to puke.
"Not for long, loser!" I yell and chuck a water balloon at him. This plan fails because it is the most basic plan and Charlie is two steps ahead. He ducks, and then throws one of his balloons at me so quickly, that I don't even have time to scream.
"Who's the loser now?" Charlie says. He smirks and then walks towards Liam and Will, who congratulate him.
I must've had a pout on my face because Ben came over to me and hugged me.
"It's okay Rory. Even though you are a loser and lost this for us, you are still my favoritest sister ever!" Ben said.
"I'm your only sister," I laughed. " But thanks anyway Benny"
"Hey Rory!" Will calls.
"Don't forget you guys still have to do anything we tell you to," Liam says.
Crap.
