Rabbit Group- Ayanokoji POV

I sat down as Karuizawa took the spot next to me moving in closer. I saw from the corner of my eye that Ichinose was a bit irritated but she hid it well. Ichinose clapped her hands to get everyone's attention. Karuizawa seemed a bit tense and I recognised two of the Class C girls as the ones that were at Karuizawa's door.

"Alright, how about we start with introductions."

'This is my chance for redemption.'

Machida spoke up.

"Is that really necessary? Why do we need to introduce ourselves? Let's just get to the point of the exam."

"Of course, I can't force you but knowing the school this room could be bugged for all we know. Who knows if offending parties are penalized or not."

Machida was visibly taken aback and shaken by this.

'Though Ichinose is definitely a kind person she's not a pushover.'

Everyone began introducing themselves as the turn landed on me.

"Um. I'm Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. Hello. It's nice to meet you?"

Many sweatdropped.

'Another failure huh? Well, at least I didn't overdo it like last time.'

"Now that that is out of the way. Let's start thinking about what path to take with this exam."

Ichinose shifted the conversation to the exam.

'Thank you so much, Ichinose. You're an angel.'

"So how do you all think of me as acting as this group's moderator? If you have any problems with it go ahead and tell me."

'The process of leading a conversation. Not many would be willing to because of fear of possibly leaking information later down the line and by taking the initiative she is able to gain control over the situation effectively. Her actions from this point on will determine if she's able to maintain that control. After all the risk is not gone it's only that she's chosen to have faith in her ability to not make that mistake.'

"Well since there are no objections I'll moderate. Now is there anything about the rules of the exam you feel uncertain about?"

She waited for a few seconds.

"Well if there are no questions I guess I'll start. I think we should all cooperate and aim for the VIP to reveal themselves during the allotted time so that everyone can get Private Points."

Many agreed with her, myself included. However, Machida from Class A did not.

"We of Class A have decided to Abstain from participating in the examination."

'Orders from Katsuragi?'

Sotamura looked confused.

"Abtain? But why?"

Machida sighed.

"Let me ask you. What would be the worst circumstance in this Examination?"

Yukimura answered while fixing his glasses.

"It would be if someone discovered the VIP and betrayed the group."

"Exactly. Even the slightest conversation could result in clues being leaked."
