His flip phone rang and only one person had this number. He answered the call. „Tony?" His heart began to beat faster and he hoped to hear Tony's voice. „Sorry to disappoint you, but it's me Cap." He looked at the phone in surprise. „Bruce... Haven't heard from you in a long time. What happened?" „Thanos attacked Asgard and New York. He is looking for the Infinity Stones. He already has the Power Stone, the Space Stone and the Reality Stone. There are two stones on earth. His submissions are currently looking for it. They kidnapped Stephen Strange, the keeper of the Time Stone, onto a spaceship. Tony and Spider-Man are now on this spaceship too. They try to save him. But Thanos submissions are still on Earth. They are looking for..." „They are looking for Vision. I know where he is. He's with Wanda. Thank you for telling me this. I'm gonna go and get them to a safe place." With these words he ended the call and went searching for his teammates. „Nat, Sam. We have to find Vision and Wanda. There's this guy, Thanos, who is looking for the stones. He sent his submissions to get the stones and Vision has one of the two stones on earth, the mind stone. We have to protect him." They just nodded and grabbed their weapons. Thanos' submissions were about to attack Vision and Wanda when they showed up. They were fighting and saved them. „You're good?" Both looked at him thankfully. „Thank you Cap. I don't know what would've happened if you didn't showed up.", Wanda answered. „We are a team. It is clear that we come to help you. We have to get Rhodey. We need all the help we can get to stop Thanos." He said. „Then let's go.", Nat answered. A little later they arrived at the former Avengers headquarters, where Rhodey was talking to the Secretary. Bruce was there too. When the Secretary saw the newcomers, he demanded that they be arrested immediately. „Colonel Rhodes. Arrest them!" „Sure.", Rhodey answered and dismissed the call.
„Nice to see you again." „Thank you for not arresting us." He answered. „So Thanos. He wants the stone...", Bruce said. „You all. Stop." Vision looked at Wanda. „You have to destroy the stone." „No!" Wanda shook her head. „I won't do that." „You have to. If the stone is destroyed, Thanos can't get it." Vision tried to convince her that it was the best solution. „We won't do that. We don't trade lives, Vision. There has to be another solution," he said. „There is another solution." Now everyone turned around to look at Bruce. „If we extract the stone, we can destroy it." Wanda looked at Bruce questioningly. „What about Vision? What will be left of him then?" „I think the best of him will remain," Bruce replied. „Can we do that? Extract the stone?" asked Nat. „Yes. But not me. And not here," Bruce said. „But where then?" asked Rhodey now. „I have an idea," he said.
In Wakanda
„Thank you, your highness," he said gratefully. „How many times do I have to tell you to call me T'Challa, Cap?" The king smiled. „Hey Buck." He hugged his best friend. „New arm, I see." He laughed. „Suits you." „Thank you. T'Challa recruited me for this fight." His best friend went to his girlfriend and kissed her. „Missed you, Nat." „I missed you too." Sam rolled his eyes. „Once you're done, we should urgently come up with a plan to stop Thanos." „We already have a plan.", T'Challa replied. „So what's the plan?" he asked. „Buy Shuri as much time as possible to extract the stone." As T'Challa said this, Shuri grabbed Vision and Wanda to retrieve the stone and then destroy it. „It's time for a speech Cap." Natasha looked at him and smiled. „We all made different experiences and we didn't always agree with each other but to stop Thanos, we have to work together. To bring all our experiences in this fight and to use what we learned. We have to be a team. We have to trust each other. Then I think, we're going to have a chance.", he said. „Get this man a shield.", T'Challa answered. „Good speech, Cap." Then Okoye showed up and said: „Something entered the atmosphere." „Get ready to fight." „Yes Cap." Sam answered. Then Thanos submissions showed up and attacked Wakanda. The protective shield was still up but they knew that it wasn't going to last long. Not when there were so many Chitauri who attacked them. „Open the shield!"
