"I brought back some food, Mom... If you're hungry, just eat, okay?"

"What a cheap food."

Her sister, Eun Soo, cut in while polishing her nails.

"Are you serious? You're grown, and you still don't know Mom hates the food you bring home? You still don't get what she likes and doesn't?"

Ms. Ahn just gave Eunhee a side-eye and got up from the couch. She grabbed the food from Eunhee's hands.

"This is for me, huh?"

Eunhee smiled a bit, thinking her mom was finally accepting the food.

"Yes, you can eat it, Mom."

Ms. Ahn immediately threw the soup on the floor, spilling it everywhere.

"You think you deserve any good treatment from me? Get real, this food is only fit for dogs!"

Eun Soo smirked, watching their mom yell at Eun Hee.

"Always wasting money on stuff nobody even wants."

Eun Soo walked past Eun Hee and pushed her, causing her to fall to the floor. Eun Hee's tears flowed uncontrollably. She can't held it anymore.

Eun Hee sat behind an empty building. It was quiet and dark, and she was crying hard, all by herself. After a while, she heard a voice, like someone begging.

"What's going on now?"

Eun Hee stood up from where she was leaning against the wall and wiped her tears. She peeked around and saw a girl on her knees in front of a group of guys. Her eyes went wide, shocked by what she was seeing.

"Should I help? My life's a wreck too, should I even get involved and help her?"

She pulled out her phone, but the battery was dead.

"Seriously? The battery dies now?"

Eun Hee just stood there, trying to figure out how to help the girl.

"She's a girl too, just like me. Can I really just stand here and watch her go through that? No way, I've gotta help her."
