I sped up the race and as I was going suddenly I saw a flash in front of me.
And everything went black. I thought it was my last breath but the last thing I remember was Preet , as the human brain is active for seven minutes before death, all I could see is her face , all I could remember is her talks and the memories of our togetherness.
When I opened my eyes again I scanned the atmosphere around me , I was on the hospital bed then I saw the door opening and Preet standing there with various emotions in her eyes , I know even if she hates me but she has a soft corner for everyone even if, there is her enemy standing before her facing death then she will help him also.
She is a very very pure sole which is one of the reasons I don't want her to get hurt more. She is the reason I believed in love again, the kindness, purity , concern her eyes held for everyone makes me insane even more . She is a perfect example of childish behaviour with a mature mind , she contains innocence like a baby as well as she is caring as a mother, the thing which is why I want to hide her from the world and hold her in my arms away from the whole universe.
My thoughts of the chain broke when she asked "Are you okay, are u feeling any kind of pain ?" concern embedded in her voice. Even though I was not feeling the pain, it was my habit now to handle these kinds of pain but I said "yah! My hand is hurting a little" as I wanted her to stay with me this time.
When she heard my words I saw concern in her eyes. I know we had decided to live separately but I didn't know how to convince my heart which is the biggest problem in the whole situation.
I saw shaurya entering the room and I know he has some information about what happened and why, so he asked Preet to go out but in a gentle tone , clearly not wanted to hurt her. After that he told me , this attack was done by Aayush ( our underworld rival , he was once our trusted man but now he wants my position to rule over Asia as none of the work in Asia can't be performed without the king's permission).
He also told me that now onwards Preet will love with me in my apartment, I wanted this but also didn't want this coz I know if she will live with me all my enemies will get to know she is the person which is close to me and her life would came in danger which I can't afford, so I decided to deny but he told me that it was Preet's decision and if I want to deny then I have to deny her.
She came in when shaurya called her, I asked her why she wants to live with me, as she has her apartment given by the university. She said, "shaurya ne bataya mujhe ki tum akele rahte ho aur tumhari family Jaipur me rahti hai, yaha tumhara khayal rakhne ke liye koi nahi hai, to mene socha ki me tumhari help kar du, as I am your wife and it's my duty, -koi aur to ayegi nahi ab tumhara khayal rakhne" she muttered last line in low voice that he can't hear her.
